Hi Kazzy D,
I had the exact same thing at about 17 weeks and was told they were tension headaches and there is nothing i can do, they wouldn't even prescribe me codine! I would say they lasted about 20 days and then thankfully started to wear off and I havent really had any since and im now 27 weeks at the weekend. Apparently tension headaches can last for 2-3 weeks before they disappear and the problem with them is that medication doesn't usually work. I was lucky that my partner and my dad both spent time messaging my shoulder and neck mucsles as they were very tight and the likely cause of my headaches.
I found them unbearable at times and would just sit and cry as i was in so much pain so I really do sympathise with you. All i can say is that mine did eventually go away and once I started to relax, which i know sounds silly, they started to ease. I just kept tellin gmyself they were a pregnancy symptom like alll the others and they will go away.
Hope you feel better soon.
