I'm getting awful headaches since having O. In my whole like I've had headaches like this 3 times that I can remember, yet I'm onto my 5th in 6 months. It's so painful, paracetamol etc just doesn't even touch it, I feel so sick and on two occasions I've actually been sick. Everytime I have to go to my bed and it literally takes hours to shift it and I can't sleep from the headache.
I spoke to the doctor and she said it might be related to being back on the combined pill and suggested I move to a proestrogen only pill but I've looked it up and I'm not the best at remembering to take it at the sametime each day and I know I would constantly be late in the day and it's a bit too much of a gamble for my liking! I'm back on the same pill I was on before and never had regular headaches like this before, did anyone else have any problems?

I am not on the pill so no experience there but have you had your iron checked? My friend got awful headaches when she was anemic. I was anemic after birth, got better after a couple of months and have since had a relapse (I've never been anemic before so I'm blaming S, lol). Worth asking your GP for a blood test?

I agree with popcorn, worth having a full blood test check up! I was on my pill for years before I started developing migranes- was told by the GP to stop it and changed to a mini pill which I hated so stopped that also. After a few months I tried my normal pill again and it was fine, my GP thought it might have been a hormone overload and then I managed to settle it back down in my break. After having O I went back on the same pill but developed migranes again so haven't been on one for the last 2 months and feel a million times better, I'm not sure if it was down to post baby hormones and the the pill hormones making me worse

That's a migraine not a headache. If they're this regular you need to get it sorted. I had to come off the combined pill too. Apparently with the type of migraines I get, I could have ended up with a stroke!
I hope they shift soon or you find a solution, I know how horrible they are xx

If you take cerazette then you don't have to take it at the same time everyday, it's more like the combined pill x
