We're looking at lots of ways we could improve the BabyExpert Chat forums – and we'd really like your help!
Please do come and post here, and tell us what you like about BabyExpert Chat, and what you'd like to change, if you could.
It can be anything from the way Chat is organised to how easy (or hard!) you found it is to register, post for the first time, change your profile etc etc.
We'd love to hear your feedback, good and bad. It will help hugely as we try to make Chat a better and more user-friendly place for you all. Thanks!

Hi micromonkey - and thanks very much for replying.
How do you mean exactly? Do you mean that old threads keep reappearing because a new poster finds them and reactivates them? If so, we definitely know what you mean!
Or is it something else?
Please do let us know: this is all v useful.

Yeah sometimes you get a blank post on a thread from like 4 or 5 years ago. Also, and I know it's not easy, but anything that can be done to stop spammers, or better moderation of spammers so posts are removed when they are put up. For example prom or wedding dress advertisements, sexy underwear from someone in China, and in particular voodoo doctors who can cast spells to cure infertility or give you a six pack!! X

Thanks LH86 and micromonkey.
And yes, the blank posts thing is a bit of a head-scratcher! We're trying to figure out what's causing them, so we can find a fix.
Totally hear you about the spammers. They annoy us as much as they annoy you. Please do use the Report to Moderator link at the bottom of every thread to alert us to any spam you see. We'll zap it as soon as we get the report.

Boooey, thank you so much! We think you may be right. We'll put our thinking caps on and work out a fix for that.
Anyone else got any comments or feedback?
What would make posting easier or more fun? Is there anything else that annoys you or that you wish you were able to do?
Please do keep the comments coming!

Thanks Magpie - that's all really helpful.
How come you're not automatically logged in when you come to BX, if you don't mind us asking? Do you always make a point of logging out before leaving the site? Or do not make a point of logging out but just find you've been logged out when you come back to BX? It would be interesting to know..

Ah, OK, well, that's a bit more encouraging!
But you shouldn't be logged out when you leave/shut down the page - unless you actually click the Logout box.
Would you please let us know if you find you ARE logged out, though? It would be v helpful to know if something's going wrong.
Going back to the apps you use, are you saying that it would be good to be able to mark one thread (your Birth Club, for instance) as your default "home" thread? In other words, make it so that you were taken straight to that thread when you come back to BX?

Thanks Magpie: that's really helpful. We'll try to work out what's happening with the logging out thing.
And thanks for your other feedback - all really useful!

Be has all of a sudden started logging me out. Never happened before but now as soon as I leave the page I get logged out x

I get logged out too and like magpie said I think that's why people dont come on here as often as before as it's a bit of a pain to have to keep logging on. I agree about the comment box too, sometimes it doesn't let me type everything that I want to even if it's only a sentence. It's a real shame as when I was pregnant before (4 years ago) this site was a godsend to me, I thought it would be the same this time as have used the site for a lot of support previously as lost my son but unfortunately no one really seems to stick around in the due in forums which is a real shame.

It is a shame, I remember having lots of due in July buddies n we all swapped phone numbers etc. now there's noone else due near me on here really think ur prob the closest to me x

I know LH, such a shame. That's what we all did last time and we even did a secret Santa, I made some really good friends on here last time, so much so they sent flowers when I lost my son.
Yes, think we're about 3 weeks apart, we can stay in touch on here xxx
