Hi girls was just wondering if anyone had been through this! Yesterday I went to my GP who confirmed my pregnancy, but he sent me to the hospital's early pregnancy unit to be sure everything was ok as I had a little bit of discharge! So the midwife did a vaginal scan and now thinks that perhaps I am not as far on as the doctor thought (which was 6W 6D), so she took some blood and rang me yesterday afternoon and said my hormone level was 123 and I have to go back in 48 hours for further blood test to see if my hormone level has increased! I am just so worried this is not gonna turn out ok! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! :\?

    Hi

    Firstly, don't worry.

What was your discharge like? Have your worked out your due date yourself? Do you know when you actuallly ovulated? Your GP will just go off the first day of your last AF and go off a 28 day cycle which isn't the case for everybody.

Well the midwife did say that I probably wouldn't be able to see anything on the scan but that didn't mean it wasn't there, it took her ages to even find my womb as well! I did tell her I had a 34 day cycle and she said this was probably a factor too but it might also be ectopic, I dont know what to think! The discharge was light brown colour, but didn't have any today or yesterday, i am just so confused to be honest! xo

    Hi hun,

It's good that your discharge was a light brown colour - lots of women have this type of discharge and everything is fine. Your hcg level should roughly double in 48 hours, so unfortunately all you can do is wait for your second blood results. Fingers crossed you see a good increase.
