I really need help and need some positiveness, 2 weeks ago i found out i was pregnant the following week i spotted two small blood clot and i went to A&E, which they then sent me to the fetal unit to have a scan, i was only 5 weeks and she could not see much but the sac and told me to come back in 10days (10th March) to see if there is any growth. then on Sunday i woke up bleeding passing loads of small clots, and monday i passed one egg shape clump what i guess is tissue or a big blood clot it had no sac or anything just dark red and hard. (it looks nothing like the pictures on Google of a misscarge) I tried to ring the fetal unit but got told to wait for my scan on the 10th. So i went to A&E and the doc told me it's 50/50 I'm having a misscarge or have had miscarried already. And told me to do a pregnancy test today. Which i did and its a strong positive, stronger than when i found out i was pregnant and when i tested 4 days ago. So my question is could this mean I'm not having a misscarge because in theory the line should be getting fainter not stronger if I'm passing the baby. I have a scan the 10th but time seems to be going so slow, I just want to know if my little spud is ok Very Sad So sorry if i keep going on. Thanks for your help

Hi hun, really sorry you are going through this. I had two mcs last year that started with light bleeding. Did they do blood tests after your first scan? When I had a scan around 5 weeks first time around they couldn't see anything so took blood tests. My first result was only 60 & 2 days later this had dropped to 30 so I knew I was miscarrying. 2nd time around my results carried on increasing for a while but not doubling like they were meant to.
Really wish I could give you an answer either way as I know how horrible the wait is, but without blood tests the only way to know for sure is your scan. If your hormones are still increasing as they did with me before my 2nd mc that would explain the darker line on your test, but that alone cant tell you if you are going to mc or not.
Really wishing the best for you - here if you need to talk. Supa x x
