    Ok first things first congratulations!

next thing you need to do is take a breath! lol i know it can be panicking and worrying but cramping is very common early on as its the baby implanting but if they are really bad just give the NHS Direct Line a call just to be on the safe side.

Then what you need to do is make an appointment to see ur GP who will register ur pregnancy an they will get intouch with the hospital who will then send u a scan date and some information in the post an then you will also see a midwife. Dont worry any questions you have you can ask your GP xx

You can never get a false positive hun because the hcg hormone is never present unless your pregnant and this is what the test picks up x

You can do another test if u so wish to hun, i know i did two, i did like a strip test which i got from a clinic because the one i did at the clinic didnt work properly so the nurse told me to do one at home in the morning, and then i did a clear blue digital one just to see how far along i was because the test i did first the positive line was so bright it was unreal so i didnt need to know if i was pregnant just wanted to know how far along because it was impossible to tell when id conceived because i only came off the pill on the 30th July and by the 1st August the test read 3+ which means your 5 weeks or over so im still none the wiser! lol.

I have my scan on the 22nd October so will know more then lol.

Dont worry too much about being inexperienced no matter how much you think you know or do know it can never prepare you for your own baby, they dont come with a manual an its just trial and error believe me lol. My sons 3 an i still feel like i dont know what im doing etc. You'll get there an please dont be afraid of asking for help off your midwife or dr an never feel your going to sound stupid or be judged, because not getting help can make you feel overwhelmed xxx

Thank you so much for the advice I really appreciate it I've just been in tears all afternoon feeling like I don't know what's going on, and when is the best time to tell my boyfriend etc, I suppose there isn't really a right time is there lol. Gosh so that must be really confusing for you bless, I bet the 22nd of oct can't come quick enough for you! I'm 26, and still feel like embarrassed to talk to a Gp etc, like they are going to judge me I know it's silly.xxx
