J has them all the time, both as a bump and for a few months after he was born. It feels so odd doesn't it?

Yes very normal and Isla's got worse when she was born. I did ask the midwife about it and she said perfectly normal for a while after they are born as they are still learning how to breath and feed at the same time

Very normal! I felt loads of hiccups whilst pregnant and E still hiccups loads now!

My bump had hiccups loads and he still does now at 19 weeks old.

I felt loads of hiccups with my first 2 but none at all with S, don't think he's had them since he was born either

Apparently hiccups is their way of strengthening the diaphragm because they don't get any proper breathing practice in utero. Not sure how accurate it is and of course babies who don't have many still come out and breathe fine, but it does seem to make sense!

My first bump had them loads, and he continued to have loads for months after he was born. My second had them less infrequently and so far has only had them a few times.

J always had the hiccups in bump, and still does now. Never known a child to hiccup so much.

Absolutely normal, C was always hiccuping in utero - I even remember when in labour him hiccuping loads and thinking it was the last time I'd feel it.

I'm not sure I've felt this. What does it feel like? There's been plenty of wiggling, turning and kicking.

Totally normal, and WEES about baby having them lots in the first few weeks too.
Sange, it's like a kick, but you can tell they're the hiccups as they happen very rhythmically.

My first did loads, several times a day, my second almost never.

I'll keep a feel out for them. Exciting!
