Hello, could you recommend me a high chair please? I've no clue yet what to look for, but I can sense it's going to be dragged up and down the hallway from dining room to kitchen so something not too heavy/easy to sling around would be useful. Thanks for any help :)

IKEA Antilop is fab, light and easy to move around and a piece of cake to clean. I think there are some stock issues at the moment but it's by far the best high chair I've ever used.

We have a mothercare one that folds away. I'd recommend any that have a post between the legs. As W has got bigger, when I'm unclipping him, he stretches out and if the post wasn't there, he'd be in danger of sliding out.

We've got the antilop and it's fab. Goes on the dishwasher, lightweight etc. It is roomy but we bought the inflatable insert which we used when S was little to give extra support.

Another antilop fan. A could sit by the time we got to weaning but we did shove a pillow behind his back in the very early days.

I have the ikea one too. Had a fold up one first time round and hated it, it was such a faff to clean the folds and creases of the seat cushion, the basket underneath I used to store wipes etc but it just accumulated bits of food that W dropped so it was another thing to constantly clean.
The ikea one isn't the prettiest but is definitely the most practical. Stick it in the shower or dishwasher easily, nice and light to move from room to room or take away for stats with family etc

Thank you very much ladies. As it turned out I was in Ikea so it seemed a good idea to grab theirs. It was £21 all in which I thought was impressive. Agnes LOVES it.

I was just gonna say that I recommend the Antilop. I still use it with my 2 1/2 year old!
