not sure if there are any doctors or midwifes on here would like a little bit of advice.

My last pregnancy was not good I had really bad morning sickness (I have with all my pregnancies) I kept having pupations in my chest they said low iron but took bloods when I walked I felt like I was walking into something as if I was stopped but knew I was still walking (trying to describe it not sure if I have done a good job lol) can not remember what week I was when they found out but my red blood cells where 4.8 and they said it was really low when they phoned me to go back in I was famous lol that is what they said on the ward as they had never delt with anyone like it even my consultant was confused I had loads of tests they took 2-3 weeks to figer it out then a week on B12 vitamin injections to sort it   when I got there they said I was lucky to be alive I could have had a heart attack so I was so scared and they induced me at 38 weeks just incase I bled to death

Well to the question could it happen again if I got pregnant? how could I prevent it if it can? many thanks

    Hi Emma108pd,

im not a dr or midwife (I'm a nurse) but I would suggest getting a full blood screen from your gp, explain to them everything. They may advise vitamins or supplements.

    hope this helps
