It's so stuffy here and our bedroom is at the back of the house which gets the sun belting in all day. i have very window in the upstairs of our house wide open and our room is 24.5degrees according to the groegg.
Last night was warm but not as bad as this and I put O down in a short sleeve vest and a 1 tog sleeping bag but I felt his arms were pretty cold to touch in the night despite the room still being 22 degrees and he was awake at 5am (I don't think he had the best of sleeps).
What should I put him in to sleep? I'm stressing that he's going to be overheating!

I'd say long sleeve vest and 0.5 tog sleeping bag if you have one.

The thinnest I have is a 1. I live in Scotland so tbh didn't even expect to use the 1 tog! Lol!
Should I cover his arms though?

F is in a short sleeved vest and baggy pair of shorts, no sleeping bag. He is still roasting hot and keeps wakening to screaming.

We are putting F in a long sleeved vest and his sleeping bag - we only have 2.5 unfortunately!!! We'll leave the zip down and the windows open.

When it was that temperature in S's room last week he was in a LS vest and a 1.0 tog sleeping bag a couple of times, but he was still a bit hot when I got him in the morning. We ditched the sleeping bag after that and he slept in a LS vest. He doesn't seem to mind his legs being cold but will wake if his arms are.
We kept the curtains closed and blind half down with the window open all day as like you, it gets the sun all day so really warms his room up. It helped a little!
