So worrying a little bit lol!..
I don't feel so rubbish... I get some Indigestion and sickness but no where near the amount I got with Jack. My nipples are sore but I remember them being pretty erect a lot. Mien aren't this time.. I do have tiredness.. so I do have some symptoms.. like twinges as well...
Guess I am just worrying for nothing atm but would be nice to hear if you had similar or not pregnancies :)

I was much sicker with this pregnancy, more tired (probably because I have a toddler too) and have had more indigestion. I've had less backache generally ( until this last couple of weeks) better skin & hair, no carpel tunnel -woot- and less sore boobs in the early days. So generally speaking they've been reasonably different pregnancies. J was also breech till 37 weeks whereas Attila has been better behaved and gone head down in a timely fashion. I'm hoping she'll be earlier than J too!
If you're feeling better with this one I'd be happy about it, I suspect it just means you're having an easier ride. :-)

Thank you... I guess I am just worrying lol! Not good when I am only a few weeks in haha!

I have no advice as this is my first.
I am just being nosey but are you getting any special treatment this time Cc? Extra scans to check your cervix or a cervical stitch or cerclage put in soon? x
15/05/2014 at 16:49
At my 12 week scan they will check my cervix - If it's okay then I go back and have one at 16 weeks.. If it's not okay at either of the appointments then I will be getting the cervical stitch.. There was also talk of steroids as well but not 100% sure where that fitted in! (Was crying at that point lol!)
They don't know if it was because of my cervix or not.. so have to wait and see until my 12 week scan!

Thanks MrsB that's reassuring... But you can't help but worry lol!

I can imagine you're *bound* to worry CC. Don't worry that you're worrying. Totally normal. Hugs xx
My pregnancies were different in some ways. I couldn't work first time around. I worked up to due date this time. Iron injections first time, great iron levels this time. Preeclampsia symptoms first time, low blood pressure this time (apart from a couple of episodes). Nausea throughout both times (more intense first time). Heartburn AWFUL both times. Slept badly last time, fairly well this time (could be because I was working this time). Lots of swelling both times. Little pelvic pain first time, lots second time.

So you had quite different pregnancies then that makes me feel much better lol!

I had very different pregnancies (so far) CC. With Alex I was sick every day for weeks, constantly feeling ill. Went off sex completely, couldn't even have certain foods in the house. Got heartburn. Couldn't lie on my stomach from very early on and felt uncomfortable on my back too.
This time round, if it weren't for the lack of periods and the fact we were trying so knew to test... I would not have known I was pregnant until probably 16 weeks when the bump sprouted! I was quite tired in 1st tri but again, if I hadn't known then I'd have put it down to running around after a toddler all day. I was losing weight too, but with Alex I put on weight almost from BFP (maybe lost a small amount in 1st tri but then piled it on... I'm almost 26 weeks now and have only put on a few pounds since BFP).
Hope that reassures you. I panicked a little around 8 weeks due to the total lack of symptoms and had an early scan.

I'm the exact opposite. My 1st pregnancy was so easy, in fact so easy that I worried constantly that I wasn't pregnant & didn't really believe it until around 26 weeks when I felt a bit of movement. I was sick for 3 days around 6 weeks & then had a bit of sciatica in 3rd tri with a little heart burn. This time I felt hungover for all of the 1st tri & a little of the 2nd. I still feel sick some mornings & have been sick a handful of times (including a few days ago). I also still feel ridiculously tired most of the time & have sciatica already & a sore pelvis & hips . I lived off pepsi max, wotsits & super noodles for quite a few weeks & still can't face food shopping (hurrah for free click & collect service). So yes, different pregnancies can be very different.
Take care & remember that no symptoms (or very few symptoms) doesn't mean there's anything to worry about x

I'm glad they are keeping an eye on you this time and have a plan. Will keep my fingers crossed all goes smoothly though x

I had a lovely easy 1st pregnany, although i did put on a lot of weight and have large baby (see sig) and the 2nd pregnany i didnt pile on weight (possibly cos i was chasing a toddler round?) but i was plagued by UTI's and towards the end insomnia. Both births were good - 2nd one being very quick with a smaller baby!

Interesting thread - I had a very easy first pregnancy with absolutely no symptome unless you count tiredness in 1st and hearrtburn in 3rd trimester.
This time around I'm finding it much harder - simply because I have a 4 year old and there is no time for me to relax much or put my feet up. I find it incredibly draining in the evening to get her to bed and then maybe up and down the stairrs to settle her. She won't settle for my H and I'm not quote sure how to fix that - any ideas appreciated. My H is trying to help a lot but I am not enjoying this pregnancy as much as the first one and it akes me sad as its definately my last ;)

Thank you ladies Its helped put my mind at ease thank you!
Dont worry dont expect everyone to remember everything :)

With O, I wasn't sick that often, had a few symptoms, but was generally ok. With L, I was so much sicker than with O, tired and generally felt like crap for the 1st tri and then I was alright for the rest of the pregnancy. This pregnancy is like L's but with more sickness and tiredness.

Both pregnancies started out very similar with bad headaches, a teeny tiny bit of nausea and generally feeling quite well. However since 13 weeks, I've had a bright red bleed followed by weeks of spotting, a severe UTI, a chest infection and now it appears I have a stomach bug. On top of this I generally feel tired, but do have a 2 year old to run around after, and my backache is worse. So where I had an easy first pregnancy, this now feels the complete opposite x
