Hi can anyone please tell me when the baby turns head down as im 31+3 and my midwife says that my little boy is breech and its made me worry coz she said when i get to 36wks i will need a scan to see how he is layed and if he is still breech they will try and turn him and if that dosent work then i will have to have a c.section. sarah xxxxxx

    Hi Sezra,
he could turn at any time, with any luck he'll do it by himself, i have yet to find out which way round my baby is,I'm 31 +3 as well. They may try and turn him manually and there are exercises you can do to help his head come out of the pelvis, your mw will check at your next appointment and if he still hasn;t turned that's probably when they suggest the exercises and manual turning. hope this helps a bit Em xx

you don't have to have a c-section for breech if you don't want to buit don't worry anyway as a lot of baby's don't turn head down til the last couple of weeks some don't until you're in labour, but ask for a midwife trained in breech birth if nessecary because you can give birth naturally with a breech baby.

    Hi sarah,
been busy painting our lounge, have just moved into our new house and want to get the living room done before our new sofa gets here, i like Thomas, not one we could have as my fiance's last name is thompson, so would be cruel, we have picked Noah i think it's a little bit different but not too weird!! I think it's much harder trying to find boys names, before we found out i had a huge lsit of girls names and only a few boys names!! Em xx

    Hi sarah,
how you doing with the boxing up? had physio today been getting really bad backache since i was 13 wks, and have finally done something about it, trying to remember to do the exercises and keeping my posture is difficult. we finished the lounge last night, i just sat and did the cutting in so not much hard work really!! he did the most of it bless him, just felt a bit useless cos i can;t do much to help!
got my physio ante natal class tomorrow, all about relaxation and breathing etc, more time off work for appointments, great!!! Em xx

    Hi Sarah,
had my relaxation class yesterday took my o/h, it was very good although baby did not stop moving and had a foot (I hope!!) in my ribs so could not get properly comfortable!! the only trouble with the relaxation was that i had to go back to work afterwards!! my boss said 'so are you feeling relaxed then?' um... no i'm back at work!! would've been much better if i could've gone home!i have another antenatal tonight where we will be going over pain relief and life with a newborn, scary!!!
our new sofas are coming today, and i want to get the lounge floor swept and mopped before they get here, wonder how long that's going to take me!!
32 weeks tomorrow !! just realised we're into single figures now!! 8 weeks to go still feels like ages away.
hopefully when you move into your new house the previous owners will have done such a good job of cleaning it that you won't have much to do!! ours wasn't too bad but the oven was disgusting,we paid extra for it, the woman who used to live here runs a cleaning company!! i don;t think i would employ her to clean my kitchen!! Em xxx

    Hi Sarah
how are you now? hope it's eased off for you, i know what you mean 32 weeks is too early, hopefully your o/h is right and it's just braxton hicks, i;ve been having them on and off for about 14 weeks now, don;t stress if you can, you could have done with that relaxation class a bit sooner!
i'm at home with backache again today also nicely coincides with the sofa coming!! my friend at work thinks it would be worth seeing if i can be signed off, but feel a bit pathetic if i did, i keep thinking that i'm just being a bit neurotic or something and keep thinking i;m whingeing over nothing, but then i suppose everyones different, just because everyone at work who's had a baby had it easy (or they've forgotten how much hard work it is being pregnant!!) doesn;t mean i should too i guess.
let me know how you are getting on, try not to stress too much, Em xxxx

Hi em thanks, its seemed to of eased so im not gunna bother with hospital. I think its a good idea for you to sign of work now esspecialy if your in that much pain. Some people say to me you worry to much but at the end of the day i think i would rarther worry to much than not enough so please dont think that you are being pathetic coz your not xx. I think we both need a full body massage from our partners tonight lol to releive the stress lol good luck with the sofa and no lifting lol. xxxxsarah
