Just wondering really?
Discobaby was a poorly boy at the weekend, TMI vomitting all feeds and water for over 12 hours (ended up with a trip to hospital to get him checked for dehydration and a near miss of having to hav him on IV fluids. this was followed by two awful nappies on consecutive days.
He still isn't right now very very sleepy but no temp and feeding normally again.
Now I won't take him to socialise with other children until next week to make sure he is clear, but a friend said oh if he has stopped vommiting then it is fine.
So just interested really how long due you wait before you socialise with other babies after your little ones have been ill?

With D&V I follow nursery rules of 48 hours after last episode. A few times A has caught me out with sick/bad nappy 24 hours after so I know why the rule is 48 hours.

I'd go by the usual school and nursery policies of 48 hours after the last episode of vomiting or diarrhoea when it's a bug like that.

our school also suggests 48 hours, plus if he's still not himself he might not feel up to socialising anyway.
