As above really, I am concious that E will not be in the moses more than a few months so what did/do you use for day time naps? I don't think my pram is suitable for long sleeps but obviously I want her downstairs with me. I have the cot upstairs in my room.

J outgrew his basket by 2 weeks.
His downstairs naps were in his carrycot. He napped in a travel cot when at my Mums house.

My two were both about 6 weeks when they grew out of their moses basket. For downstairs naps they slept in their bouncer chair, at night time, i know it's against SANDs guidelines, but they were in their own cots in their own rooms.

8 weeks to the day then he went in a crib in our room. Naps in the day either the pram or on me to be honest x

o outgrew it at around 5.5 months and then he went into his cot in his own room. L, on the other hand, has a couple of weeks left in it before she'll be too big. She currently has her day time naps in it so she'll move into the travel cot next. Her night time sleeps are in a cot in our room.

O is small (9th centile) and we are going to buy him a cot this weekend. He's 15 weeks.

We packed away at 8 weeks, he still fitted in it but didn't like it. Daytime downstairs sleeps on me, in car or in baby bjorn bouncer.
Night sleeps were in hammock from day 1

#1 fitted in the basket until about 12 weeks, #2 a bit longer but it was a squeeze. Daytime naps were either in the bouncy chair which laid almost flat, the pram or laid on the floor on a blanket when a bit bigger. Night sleeps were in the basket then cot for #1, and basket then crib for #2 - this time I've gone straight for a cribfor upstairs and pram for downstairs and not bothered with a basket.

I was looking at A in ours this morning and at 5 weeks, he has about 6/8 inches to go lengthwise, although I've noticed that he's started hitting the sides when he throws his arms around. Not sure what we'll do when he outgrows it, so will be watching this with interest. He does sometimes sleep in his Babybjorn bouncer, but not sure how long he should be in it for at the moment.

Alexa is still in it as 4.5months. She weighs 14lbs.
Leila used it until 6 months for naps and in the evening until we went to bed.
Tia would have fitted in it until about 8 months [lol].

J outgrew his at 9 weeks- for daytime naps he will only sleep on the floor on a very flattened V pillow. He sleeps in his cot fine at night but won't tolerate sleeping anywhere else than the floor during the day (bizarre child)

B didn't like the Moses basket much so he sleeps in a travel cot in the daytime and his cotbed in our room at night
28/03/2013 at 16:48
Naps were always on me or H or on the floor, or next to me on the sofa. We never had a Moses basket but as soon as he could roll he hated his crib so we bought a travel cot.

J was out of his by 10 weeks, B is on 98th centile and I think she only has a couple of weeks left in it. J had his daytime naps on me but I'm not sure what we're gonna do about B,her carry cot is a bit bigger but not massively and she isn't keen on her bouncy chair

A is 9 weeks and im nt sure she will see 12 weeks in hers so I have a travel cot for when she is ready and also it will double up as a safe place to put her when I need to leave the room when she is mobile x
28/03/2013 at 17:46
G is still in hers and is nearly 5 months now, but it's getting tight
28/03/2013 at 21:31
I was in hers until 6 months, probably wouldn't have lasted much more than that though!
28/03/2013 at 22:21
F outgrew his at just over 5 months at which point we put him in his cot for daytime naps and at night. Until then though, all his daytime naps were in his basket.
