C barely drinks....unless of course it's a bloody fruit shoot!!! In a typical day I don't think he even has a full beaker of water. he always has a drink on the side and knows where it is if he wants it. I'm not prepared to give in to his demands for things like fruit shoots just to get him to drink. He has tthe on special occasions or apple juice if we go to the pub but that's as far as im prepared to take that. I'm always asking if he'd like a drink and he mostly says no. Sometimes he suffers from constipation and has dry lips but I don't know what to do to encourage him.
Whats a typical intake for your toddlers?

About the same, sometimes he'll drink more than a beaker but not by much and more often it's less. He'll drink some with his food then sip during the day. He still has a beaker of milk most mornings and before bed though.
He just downs juice when I let him have some, at some of the groups we go to they give them juice and I have to stop him after his 3rd beaker. Then I have to change his nappy hourly.

Jacob has a small beaker of juice with breakfast at home (about half of an Asda/Ikea beaker), then a cup morning and again in the afternoon, with small drinks at meals and a cup of milk before bed. Would C drink other stuff from a FS bottle? I use a tiny bit of sugar free squash for flavour as mine want whatever I have.

No Margot, I've tried filling them with water and he politely tells me it's not juice

Oh dear! I guess that if he's thirsty then he'll drink though, some people just drink less than others.

N drinks loads but I think he's the exception rather than the rule. He is 2y8m.
He'll have 3qtrs of an Ikea beaker of very dilute OJ for breakfast with food. A mug of water (he calls it tea cos its in a mug ) with lunch, probably a similar size to the Ikea beakers. Same with dinner. I give him very diluted sugar free squash with one meal, not enough squash to even change the colour or taste but he sees me do it so he thinks he's having it!
In addition to that he'll sip on a beaker of water throughout the day which I refresh every now and then. So he maybe has another beaker cup of that throughout the day.
And 7oz warm milk at bedtime.

I have no idea as at 14 months N is a milk fiend! He still wants four bottles a day and gets grumpy without them. He only drinks water at nursery and if I offer milk in his beaker at home he pushes it away. Doesn't help that he can't drink cows milk so we are still having to make up formula.
I have no idea how to change his drinking habits.

I (21 months) tends to have a few oz of milk in the morning (half a sippy cup) and 7-8 oz for bed. In between she has max a beaker of water but same her if we are at a class she will down as much squash as she is allowed...
She had a couple of sips of OJ yesterday from my glass but just gets bored. If we all have a drink with lunch she will have more but we all have to "drink together" she shouts it then we all do cheers and she drinks. What we will do to get them to drink...
She used to be far worse and I worried so much about her fluid intake.

J has a cup of milk at breakfast, 2 or 3 cups of water or juice during the day. If we're out, he'll drink more, as he likes being bought drinks (he gets that from me, haha), and a cup of warm milk at night. He calls that his "tuppy tea", as I make it the same time as my cup of tea, he thinks he is having tea aswell.

E and S probably have 2-3 beakers of weak juice a day. Neither of them will drink plain water so they have either very watered down apple juice, or very watered down squash. I don't like drinking water, so i aren't going to force them to drink it. We find with S that when he doesn't drink enough he gets terribly constipated.

J is the same, he will guzzle juice but only drink water with meals. He is only offered water until late afternoon and then if he hadn't had much I'll give him weak squash. He also had 2 beakers of milk a day
