Z is 13 weeks now, how much should he take for a feed? I left H 4oz yesterday for afeed so i could slep in and he demolished it so quickly!

What does he weigh? I work out feeds based on weight in kg x 150 that gives you it in mls, 30mls to an ounce. That's for a 24 hour period so I divide by 6 feeds, as that's what they did in neonatal. I normally add an extra ounce per feed as sometimes he takes more

He's about 12lbs 9 oz now.thanks, I'll check that one.

That's just under 5 ounces a feed so maybe offer 5 and see if he wants to take it, b feeds less in the evening than the day

B is 14 weeks now and takes 5x6oz bottles a day, he is ff tho.

At that age and weight my HV always said to do half their weight in ounces. So if he weighs 12lb something I'd leave 6oz

It's different for BFd babies. M would take 150ml a feed if it was EBM and takes much much less formula now. His feeds rarely exceed 120ml but he is gaining weight and is still happy.
I found this really helpful MB- kellymom.com/.../milkcalc

I think Isobelle used to drink 5 or 6oz of ebm at that stage although it might have been more!

At that sort of age, I would probably have left 6 oz with an extra couple incase they sank the 6oz. I would always rather leave too much than too litte.
