H was ebf until weaninan which we started 3 months ago. He's purée and finger food weaned but predominately finger food / BLW principles. He has milk sometimes in the early morning but then doesn't really want milk until late afternoon / tea time. He'll then feed in the eve before bed and a few times in the night (but more for comfort to get back to sleep than for milk iyswim)
does this sound like enough milk? What will happen if he isn't getting enough?
after paediatrician said he'd grown out of milk allergy he has fromage frais, cheese for dairy and drinks water. He doesn't eat a lot though at each meal.
I don't mind him having less milk if it won't do him any harm but just wondered how much everyone else's baby has. He still only has breastmilk and doesn't have a bottle.

My e has always been FF and has milk in the morning before breakfast, before nap, before dinner and before be. She has 6oz morning, 5oz nap, offered 6 late afternoon but often not too bothered, and has 6-8 at bed. Pre weaning she had 35oz a day.
Generally for a FF baby you'd work off 20pz of dairy - yogurt, fromage frais, cheese and butter will all count towards his daily intake of calcium, x

Do you bottle feed now? If yes, how much in each bottle? My HV said babies will be fine if they're having a least a pint of milk a day, which is about 19oz. L has been having 3 x 8oz bottles day and she's just turned 10 months.

at 9 months disco was having 3/4 milk feeds a day 1 on waking, 1 before bed and then 1-2 as snack mid morning and mid afternoon if he asked for them, disco is breast fed to, I am sure H will let you know if he wants more milk or food and as long as he is eating some dairy aongside his milk feeds you should be fine
