Hi I was just wondering how much weight other people put on during pregnancy?
I originally lost about 4 kg in the first 12 weeks due to innapetence and morning sickness but since then gained 6kg and im now at 27weeks. Does that mean a total gain of 6kg or have I technically only gained 2kg ?
I have felt amazing during the whole pregnancy but in the last week seem to suddenly look really fat all over, gone really spotty, have swelling of my ankles, achey back and just generally feel a bit poo...is it normal for it to just suddenly catch up with you like that?

4 and a half stone with my first and 3 and a half with my second - but worth noting i didn't stop eating and never suffered any nausea or sickness.
Sometimes i found, pregnancy does just catch up with you - when i went into my second trimester, i had really bad acne (and have never suffered with spots before) dandruff and had the opposite of pregnancy glow - i'd never looked worse!
Not sure about your weight gain - but i wouldn't worry too much - maybe mention at your next midwife appoitnment.

Your question is tricky,ha! I would say you gained 6 kilos and believe me that is not much at all for 27 weeks ! I would be really grateful If I was you!
I started my first pregnancy from 48-49 kilos and when I gave birth at exactly 38 weeks, I was 64 kg! all this even after I fought sickness, nausea and vomiting until week 35 of pregnancy! I used to vomit even the water that I drink in a day !! But it also depends on your height how much you can show on the body. It’s not really about the kilos, but the shape of your body and how your metabolism works in assimilating the food. Try not too worry too much! Walk a lot and be as active as possible. About the acne,it’s pretty common in pregnancy because of the hormonal fluctuation in your body. Eliminating the “bad things” from your diet and drinking a lot of water can help to improve this issue. Just remain positive and strong because the pain you feel in your body now it’s nothing compared to the one awaiting in the 3rd trimester haha! I was diagnosed with SPD all throughout my pregnancy and man, that hurt! But staying all day in bed doesn’t help! Instead when you feel pain, you should do some exercise and this is the advice of the physiotherapist I used to go to during my pregnancy.
Don’t worry about weight gain and all the pain, it will be gone and forgotten in a second after you see your precious newborn!
Good luck for the rest of your pregnancy And All the best to you and baby!
