The name Naomi is still one of my favourites but I'd like your opinion on pronunciation please!
Would you say
NAY-ah-mee with the emphasis at the start
Nay-OH-mee with the emphasis in the middle?
Or is there another alternative that I'm missing?

THe second one definitely. Nice name too by the way :-)

The second option too

Nay - oh - me
I knew 3 in my year at school!

Ni - Oh - Me.

Second version for me too Nay-OH-mee
I know a Ny-OH-mee (as is the Ny bit rhymes with eye) spelt Naomi, but she is foreign so maybe that is why.
the second one!

My sister who passed away was called Naomi. Lovely name.

Ni-oh-me. (Ni as in night, oh as is omg! And me as in me!)

Second one, emphasis in the middle.

Your second way, but I know a lot of people who'd pronounce it "Nigh-oh-me" rather than "Nay-oh-me"

See I would say the first way, and my H would say the second. We had this had one of our favourites, but scratched it as I knew I'd get annoyed with people pronouncing it in what I percieved was the wrong way!

Second way. Nice name
nay oh mee.
Its a very nice name and not very common anymore

I'd say the second one too, although have heard it said "Nigh-OH-me" as well. Lovely name x

Thanks for the opinions ladies, I think the second way too so I'm glad it seems to be the more common way. I like that it's not common but not too out there, and being biblical it fits with my boys names well. Will keep working on H!

Second way x

2nd way for sure, and I like it! Will go nicely with the boys names Margot! x
