I have this quite often , it has woken me a few times , dh has woken up panicking thinking I'm in early labour ! have to do labour breathing to ease it , had it with lo too , - my 4th , think it's def worse with this 1 though , been practising hypnobirthing technique of turning down the dial of pain - works sometimes , mentioned it to midwife n she said not to worry too much if it eased within 20 minutes or so n it usually does , if it's in the day time I find a hot water bottle helps , it's usually after I've done yoga , love it but some of the postures are a little uncomfortable now , helps with every day aches n pains though , hope you get some relief hun , no more signs of bleeding etc I hope ? x x

i asked my mw the other week and she suggested it was baby on a nerve. it was agony last night has never been that bad before and dont think i had it at all with the other 3. ive got an appoinment with my consultant next week.i will ask him as my mw is only 12.

Yes I would def mention it ,didn't have it with my 1st 3 either , had it again this morning n had to go on all fours ( forgot to say that was the only way to deal with it before ) dh thought his luck was in , don't they always !!! could be baby pressing on a nerve , or round ligament pain - horrid though isn't it x x

from what ive read about ligament pain thats normally on the other side. but it could be ive not had it as bad since. seren is really low so im wondering if thats why?? she does lean on a nerve some times and i get a shooting pain down my leg. i have to say this pg has been my best in alot of ways but im feeling alot more aches ect. i even spend whole days with braxton hicks and just as i think maybe i should call hospital it stops it frustrating

Same here hun ,have really enjoyed this pregnancy, but has been abit hard going physically, the braxton hicks are quite intense, could easily be the start of labour at any time ,used to get the shooting pain down my legs n was told it was the sciatic nerve used to walk down the road bashing my bum ! got some funny looks I can tell you also usually get the pain on the right side n read the uterus tilts to the right so that's what I think it could be in my case ,take it easy n keep an eye on those bh x x
