Peepo's for Mummies really. The pictures are lovely and it's set in I think ,40's Britain, all that baby sees in his day in a little poem.Very sweet.
I did used to go to story time at the library and get the kids books every week but we have that many at home we don't need to.Can't throw anything away unless it's broken beyond repair. We have torn books held together with tape

I bought it one Halloween.I don't need the book now,I know all the words, same with Peepo.
Oh,Bear Hunt's good too.The children's librarian at storytime used to get up and act it all out with the kids all joining in.Always think of that when I read it.
The Tiger Who Came To Tea's good too.I 'm sure I read it as a child, cos when I read it to ours it was familiar.
Too many.Don't get time to read my own books.

We're as bad ,Laura.With Darren it's Oblivion on the PS3 .It's a quest type game.He's a lady character in it,he has a magic horse and he's a mage,like a wizard.I don't know,seems to keep him off the pc.That's my toy for the evening.
03/09/2009 at 10:29
lol at you lot, feel like i haven't been on in ages but its probably only been a few days.
my two love books aswell, we've got most of those mentioned, no games consoles though thank goodness, got no time for those.
i'm just the same, zack is still breech which i think is making me look bigger and i've been really busy as moss started playgroup this week and is loving it. just keeping in mind that cause of the spd i wont be allowed to go over my dates so he will definately be here in 6 weeks but more likely to be 4
03/09/2009 at 11:01
hope the little monkey turns soon! glad moss is enjoying playgroup, i need to start looking around for jack hes starting this time next year.
Rachel a DSi is the new nintendo DS the handheld thing has camera in it now though, its andrews but i steal it as i can come on here on it!
andrew used to play final fantasy on the ps2, did my head in so we lost the disk, now its mario kart on the wii, or call of duty on the ds, either way. noisy!! i like peace in the evening!
03/09/2009 at 14:35
Oh I'm behind on the times me!!! far to technical for me that!!!!
Glad Moss getting on so well Caroline-cheered me up a bit as Tom goes next Tues Why am I still being silly bout this????
Come on Zack turn!!!!! Hope he does soon-sorry for mentioning getting fruity-you don't want to hear that hun x
03/09/2009 at 16:02
lol no zack dont turn, with all the problems i'm having this pregnancy i think the best option is a section and it'll be easier for me to get one if he's still breech
rach i was nervous and upset the first day but he loved it. yesterday i had to call him back to give me a kiss, cuddle and to say bye lol. i still had a wee cry tho lol
03/09/2009 at 22:37
zack stay where you are!! lol, i was so scared of another awful induction when i had my 12week scan with lola, i said to the consutant, id like a section, he asked me why and they let me, but jack was only 7mnths old when i fell pregnant, god that sounds bad!!!
i hope whatever happens it goes well caroline.
Im the same rach, i get all teary about the thought of playgroup and were waiting a year from now, going to start looking around though! Theres a lovely one called whirlybird, its attached to my old primary school & nursery, so hed start at 3 and leave at 9, i like the idea of that, only thing that concerns me is the teachers reconising me lol! and my sister and brother go there, so jack will have tom join him in playgroup a yr after then lola will join tom iyswim and then in nursery too so up until there 5 theyll be in and out of class together! but its the best school so id rather they were with family than in a bad school
