But I was a prolific poster on Hitched BT and tried to contiue that on Mumdrum. I loved Hitched BT - it was a very busy site but Mumdrum is not as busy.
At one point not long after my daughter was born Hitched BT got very quiet and a wonderful poster named Madonna started a campaign called "MILK". This was based on the idea that when you start breastfeeding the baby suckles a lot to encourage milk production. With that idea in mind we were encouraged to post lots of threads to encourage movement on the board. It worked and the forum became very busy, although it took a lot of work!
I didn't agree with separating the forums to begin with - I think everything needed to be in one place until it got busy but have tried on numerous occasions to get Offtopic moving. I posted a couple of weeks ago on Offtopic saying I was going to give it another go to get the boards busy. The response was people agreed with it but thought I should do it on the Baby Talk section. There wasn't a massive response though and I think that is because people just don't visit Offtopic frequently.
So I wanted to ask the posters on BabyTalk would you be happy with me posting lots of threads to get the board moving? There would be BabyTalk themed threads but there would potentially be a lot of Offtopic threads.
How do you feel about this? I won't go ahead with this if it makes a majority of people uncomfortable but would like feedback please before I start.

I think anything is worth a try as nothing else seems to be working here!

Go for it QI. I keep thinking of things that I want to post (just random questions) but I keep running out of time during the day. I'll follow your example and pledge to start a load of threads if people don't object to it. It can't hurt right?

I used to find the off topic section a bit cliquey as it was the same few people posting and I didn't really fit in. If posting here means everyone can get stuck in then I'm all for it :)

Go for it - anything to get this place moving.

How long do you think I should leave between posting this thread and going for it? Okay positive feedback so far, but wanted to give people fair warning just in case they came on and thought why the heck are there so many weird posts from this random?

I say go for it I didn't like the separating of the boards, but if it's going to get the place moving again! I'm on here and lots, but don't always have anything to say that's worth a new post.

Peanut Cupcake has posted a lot today in Offtopic plus others have posted a bit in BT - do you still want me to go for it?
I will have to post on an evening and hope that people keep it up during the day. IS that okay?
