I've been wanting to go to our local aqua natal class which is on a Tuesday at 6pm for weeks now but at first I didnt cos it was too early, then I was too tired and not in the mood after work and I've also been a bit scared of going as I dont have anyone to go with. So I decided - well considering we're going on Holiday in 2 weeks and I want to learn some excericises to do in the pool while we're away - I will definatley go this week!
But now dh tells me he needs the car for work as he has to give someone a lift in and drop her off home afterwards, so he wont be back until after 6 :\( The school where it is isnt even on an easy bus route from where we live and no-one else is back from work to give me a lift in, except the in laws, but I have a lecture till 5 so the only way I could get there on time would be if I had the car and could go there straight from the lecture! Disappointed!! So I guess I'll just have to go the week before we go on holiday and hope I pick up the excericises in one session

Does anyone else do aqua natal? I hope I meet someone to go with once I join!

I def plan to do aqua natal, sounds great and I think it could be good way to meet mums too.

How far along are you? I'm very early stages but was wondering when's a good time to start?

Sorry can't offer a lift!!! Don't think the exercies can be too taxing, sure you'll pick it up no worries

Im 12+4 - I'm really looking forward to it, I think it's just the first time, you know Id got myself all excited about going and now I have to wait another week LOL! I thought there might not be many there that weren't showing, so I kind of thought after 12 weeks would be a good a time as any.

I tried aquanatal for the first time last week and really enjoyed it. It says in my notes you are only allowed to attend when you are 16 weeks though, I'd check with your midwife that it's ok to go at 12 weeks, might just be typical Scotland that doesn't allow any earlier.

There was lots of group exercises e.g. standing in a circle holding hands and running around lol. It's good to get chatting to other mums 2 be though and I'm definitely going back this week xx

I plan on going to these classes but were unsure when i could attend, i'm only 9 weeks at the moment so i understand i have to clear the 12 weeks mark first.

I was told by my midwife that you can go from 16 weks so I went to my first class last week and really enjoyed it. I went on my own too, but everyone was really friendly and made me feel welcome. It wasn't too strenuous either and I'm definately going back this week. Hope you enjoy it.
