No words at all as we're still having this with our 20 month old. At the moment hew goes down in his own bed but is in with us from whenever he wakes and wont go back in his own bed. Which can be as early as 10.30.
Sorry, I'm not much help but at least you know you're not alone! x

Last night she was up every 30-45 minutes and she still won't settle herself so rocking when she goes to bed and then having to pick her up most times she wakes. We do try to resettle in her cot and sometimes it works. I feel your pain.
So basically no advice here either just solidarity!!!

Isn't it classic separation anxiety time? Which would explain wanting picked up. Not sure how to stop her waking though so that's prob not much help!

I was going to say the same as weekender, just thinking back to what we were up to three months back.. E was so difficult all of November really, lots of this screaming business. In the end we gave her milk which, although didn't feed to sleep, made her sleepy enough to settle herself back off. But yep, it was a (rather long at the time) phase here. She was better by the time she was one. Sob!

At least i know i am not alone. I think for P there are 2 issues - what is waking her up and how do we get her to go back off. She often sounds snotty so i am putting some olbas on her bed tonight. See how we go.......! Thanks everyone x
