...did your baby arrive near the original due date or the changed one?
I am driving myself insane waiting for this baby to arrive! And the heat is draining all my energy which is leaving me just sat here pondering!
My due date, based on lmp/conception date, was 15th July, then at first scan they changed my due date to 20th July. We're your changes accurate?

My changed dates were correct. Based on my LMP id have been due 23/12 but was changed to 4/1 and my waters broke /labour started on that date!

Wow, that's quite a big change too!

Mine was brought forward from 31st May to 26th May. I was induced on 6th June. Sorry!

I knew it would be as I had a longer cycle and short LP but gave up explaining to the nurse. Baby out vibes for you.

Mine was brought forward from 19th January to 16th January (so not a big change) and he was born 11th January (waters broke on 9th Jan, I was later induced).

Mine went from 11th June to 6th June. I went into labour morning of the 11th, then he was born at 2am on the 12th. So I'm standing by my dates!

Really annoyingly my date from the scan was right. I know it was wrong though, was temping and had a cd21 blood test that cycle which said I hadn't ovulated when the scan date says I would have. I was insistent my date of 27/5 was right, I had both dates on all my notes, mainly as I didn't want to be induced earlier than my date +14.
He was born exactly on the due date given by the scan. Little sod
This time I think I'm due 17/9, but scan said 13/9 so I'm just going with that this time. She'll probably arrive 17/9 just to annoy me...

The thing is that you will never know whether the day is actually right or wrong as babies arrive when they arrive. It might be that your first date is right but baby would have arrived late, or that theirs is right but it would arrive early. Who knows.
My dates were never changed. Zoe was due on 17th January and eventually arrived very late on the 28th. Doesn't mean my due date of the 17th was wrong just that pregnancy isn't a definite length. In France (I think it is france) pregnancy is 41 weeks not 40.

I know Jelly baby, just occupying my mind. Seems to make me feel a bit better. I'm such an organised person, i live by my diary etc, it's a nightmare not knowing when it will happen!
That's interesting about France. I wonder if they let you go past 42 weeks there then?
BG - That's funny!

I've heard that about France too JB. I also remember reading some research that suggested the mean average is 40 weeks but the mode average is 41 weeks, so most babies arrive around 41 weeks.

With L, based on my LMP, I was due on 1st Jan. It was then changed to 28th December but L then turned up on the 1st Jan! O was induced at 12 days over so I can't compare.

Like BG I too can pinpoint my conception date very clearly as I fell pregnant the night my husband returned from afghan, obviously couldn't have been any earlier (id have some explaining to do) and id a positive pregnancy test 9 days later, so I knew that the revised date was right.

Based on my LMP my due date was 19/07, moved to 15/07 at scan. My labour started on the 19th and E was born on the 22nd. So in a way my original date was bang on, just an awkwardly positioned baby complicated it a little!

By my dates, I knew my DD was 28th December. By the scan it was 21st December. M arrived the 17th December They are so unpredictable, my first was 2 weeks overdue!

I had no idea of a due date from ovulation date or last period date as had pcos and irregular cycles so could only go off what my scan dated me as.
Had an early scan ( in order to date me) at about 10 weeks and got EDD of 4th dec. then at my 12week scan they changed it to 30th nov. she was born 6th dec so after both dates.

I had to have 3 scans b/c I had suspected ectopic (luckily all was fine). The first scan dated me the 15th, second the 8th, then the 12 week scan dated me the 4th. baby arrived on the 11th and the midwife said she looked early. so think first scan was most accurate.
