....Did you get it with #2 and when did it start in comparison with first time around??
With P i had horrendous SPD and PGD and it started to kick in from 9 weeks, by 17/18 weeks it was very very painful. I'm 11 weeks this week and just waiting for it to kick in but nothing as as yet. (Clearly i don't believe in tempting fate by mentioning it ) Just wondering what/when to expect it.

I don't have personal experience of this but my friend had it with both of her pregnancies. With both it started around 28-30 weeks from what I can remember.

yes, I had it in both pregnancies. It was quite mild with #1 and didn't start properly until about 30 weeks. But, with A is started about 15 weeks. It started off mild and got worse. To the point where I was given crutches at 24 weeks because I just couldn't walk without being in pain and feeling like my pelvis was crunching.
Sorry, probably not the response you was looking for

Had it mildly with my first but then loads worse with the twins. If you get it go and see the chiro at the surgery asap - she is brilliant.

I had it pretty bad the first time from about 20 weeks. I had niggles the second time - the reason I tested was SPD type pain at 7 weeks. But didn't get as bad as first time.
I'm 20 SMS tomorrow and (touch wood) nothi g so far with number three!

I had it with number 1 and could barely walk in the last month and every time I got out of bed or turned over thins would creak and click. I had it very mildly with number 2, more just a bruised feeling.

I had it badly with number 1 (crutches by 17/18 weeks). I had a lot of postnatal physio and I'm now 19+5 with number 2. I have had a couple of physio sessions because I thought it was coming back but it turned out that the postnatal physio did the trick and my pelvis etc is nice and stable. The pain was muscle spasms, which is now almost sorted. I do get SPD pain at night but it is quite mild and sorted with a pillow and painkillers
I had it with number 1 at around 34 weeks and it was painful, but bearable. This time Ive had it from 27 weeks, and Im in agony. Even moving in bed hurts

I had it with #1 from 18 weeks but didn't bother going to the gp/ physio, I just put up with it as it wasn't at the point I needed crutches or anything.
This time it started from 9 weeks and by 19 weeks was such a struggle to get up the stairs I went to the gp simply because there was no way I could put up with it getting even worse for another 20 weeks. She referred me to physio and was fantastic. She wiggled my pelvis about as said it was out of line or something to that effect, and showed me exercises to do, ways to stand to relieve the pain and pressure etc. I felt transformed afterwards! It has gradually crept back and now at 35 weeks I'm in pain a lot, especially in bed, but as I know I only have 4 weeks left I can put up with it.
I would definately recommend a physio
