Just walked to our local shop with P in the buggy and when i got home i realised there is stuff in the buggy basket i didnt pay for!! Do i go back and confess?? Eeek!

I've done that before. It was socks that I'd put under the hood of the buggy and forgot about. I only realised when I got to the car to put the buggy in and go home! I didn't go back.

I think I would go back, especially if it's a shop you frequent x

I once walked out with a big pack of toilet roll slung over my arm...I went back. I was too scared not to lol

My LO shoplifted some value tinned tomatoes from Tesco last week. I didn't go back - next time tho, I'd prefer it if she could shoplift something worth more than 40p. LOL

I think it depends what the item is & which shop (I'd probably go back if it was a small independent store but not a big shop if it was a small item) not looking forward to this stage!!

I did that in Tesco once, I had K in the car seat sitting inside a shallow trolley and some baby olbas oil had rolled out of sight. I didn't go back. A took some kids sunglasses from Next a few weeks ago. I didn't go back. Not sure what that says about me!! TBH, it wasn't worth taking the glasses back, it would have cost me more than they were worth...

I dont think i will go back. It was a co-op so not a little independent store.....

I would go back. Otherwise id be paranoid going back there.

I've done it with a big box of soap powder. I had it under my trolley, balanced on the frame. I was too embarrassed to go back but made my H go to customer services the next time he was in. He offered to pay but the lady just laughed it off!

I wouldn't go back... unless I was talking a £10.99 tub of formula in which case I'd ring up id be too embarrassed.
In contrast I did the opposite the other day... paid for my shopping and left the bag behind... I only had one bag too.
