So at 34+2 this one is estimated to be 6lb10. Belly off the scale (gtt already booked for tomorrow anyway).
Is there any hope for my bits? Scan booked for 4 weeks time if I make it that far. What is the plan for you?

J was 7lb 5 at 35 weeks. Consultant wasn't bothered and told me they'd leave me 14 days before induction. Luckily another doctor agreed to induction at +6 but he came at +5 anyway. He was 9lb 13 at birth

Remember there might be a big margin of error!
S measured 40+3 and estimated 7lb7oz at 35+5 scan. Nobody seemed bothered apart from me. She was born at 40+9 weighing 9lb 3.5 oz, with a massive head which gave me a 3rd degree tear.
Good luck! At least they are scanning you again.

I had a scan the day before I gave birth. Baby was estimated to be 8and half to 9lbs. She was 9lb10. So scan wasn't that accurate. I did have a 3rd degree tear but once it was stitched it was fine. All had healed by 6week check anyway and was back on horse the next day ;-)

Thanks ladies. Under 10lb would be ok. Sammy was scanned the day he arrived and their estimate was 1/3 under!

I'd say my scans were really accurate. I followed the chart in my notes and from being 7lb 5 at 35 weeks he was predicted to be 9lb 6 on due date so 9lb 13 at +5 was pretty spot on

My scan wasn't that accurate. My MW was more spot on, from just feeling my tummy. Scan gave baby an estimated birth weight of 8lb 8oz, MW estimated 9lb 8oz.
He was 9lb 9oz at 40+0. I had a slight graze, that had fully healed after 2 or 3 days.
