Cycle during pregnancy? I've heard so many conflicting opinions and didnt cycle at all while pg with dd because I thought it was unsafe, but the book I have suggests it's a great form of exercise! Im only 5w pg so barely even a bean lol. My bike is my only realistic form of transport to and from work. thanks xx

I asked this same question. I stopped when I lost my job as had no reason to cycle anymore but the general consensus was its ok as long as ur keeping safe (helmet/off roads etc) until you feel comfortable/too big to carry on x

HI, Amy! If you already cycled before, it is ok to continue. Just avoid extrenuous exercise, but it is important that you keep active. If it will make you feel more secure, bike a little slower than usual and avoid high impact, at least until the first trimestrer has passed.

id say its fine since youve already been cycling. i continuted running until i was about 22 weeks and im now 29 weeks and still going to zumba.

Ahh thanks a lot I was really worried about it lol! This is my second pregnancy, and I swear im so bloated I look like I did at 16 weeks with dd :O crazy. Also now I know im pg theree no need to suck it all in hehehe xx
