We can't decide what colour to paint the bedroom that has just been plastered. For now it will continue to be a guest room. Once new baby is 6month old either s/he will move it that room or Lucywill move in and new baby will gave her current room. Or both of them could move in there - it's a largish room!
Just can't decide what colours to go for. I hate yellow! The new carpet will be brown.

Red is definitely neutral to me - if not red, what about a pale green? Easy to accessorise for either a boy or girl if you wanted to.

Red is a neutral colour. - tiz the colour of our pram. I second the pale green. It's a nice gentle neutral that isn't yellow!

Red is a neutral colour but I think it's a bit bold and bright for a bedroom. If I wanted red I'd probably have white walls and accessorise with red (curtains, cushions etc) maybe with one red wall. I think pale green would be lovely.

Hmm, red is neutral, though quite bold and a bit strong for 4 walls in a bedroom. How about a light grey? My 2 will have to share a bedroom, and if we stay in this house, we'll redecorate their room to be grey with wall stickers, or coloured accessories.

Our nursery is white walls with bright primary colours as accessories, and we have a red blind and red lampshade, so in my minds it completely neutral (we dont know the sex of Bean!)
Sorry cant find one of the red stuff! But you get the idea!

Hmmm has dismissed green as a bit boyish but hadn't considered pale green. Ill think about it. Anyone got any pictures? I do like red but as you say Bluewater, it might be a bit bold for 4 walls ..... Arrghh decisions decisions!

Grey is a good choice if you get the tone right, our lounge is a soft grey, almost a bit mink like. You could add splashes of magenta for girls or petrol blue perhaps. Also looks great with white and silver.
I like red but I'd just do one feature wall if you go for it

My niece has just had green for her jungle theme nursery which is now very girls as accessoried with some pinks but equally my nephew has exactly the same green but it's very boyish so in my mind its bendable for both.
imo red is neutral, as is the right colour teal/duck egg and also dark purple too again in the right shade.
