I have started to get severe lower back ache and the pain is going down my hips and thighs its such a sharp pain that you cant move with it before it wasnt that bad but the last few days its got so sore.and since last night the pain is worse and has actually made me throw up a few times. Iv even had a brownish discharge which only lasted the one day.Iv been up to the hospital a few times the last couple weeks with reduced movements as he used to be such an active footballer and kick every hour now its 6-7 times a day which is alot less for him although the monitor said he was fine they did say at first he was a little sleepy and got me to sit up and change positions and 2 out of the 3 times i had to have really sugary stuff to get him moving a bit but after that they were happy with his movements but im not still as i go home and sit and wait for him to move and hes not doing it like he used too. and i keep getting sharpish pains in my lower stomach which is more uncomfortable and its getting my stomach really tight throughout the day. At the growth scan we were told he was just below the 90th percentile so a larger baby apparently. and im a first time mother so just wondering if this is normal because doctors are dismissing it and not really listening and i can barely walk or move with the pain now and im more worried as i miscarried my first pregnancy at 7 and a half weeks.

Sounds like possible early labour. Phone your midwife & discuss the symptoms, they may want to check to see if you are dilating...

Don't take any risks at all if you feel baby isn't moving as much, get back to hospital or go to your H/V to listen to the heartbeat with a Doppler. Please don't ignore ( I lost my little boy at 21 weeks and had reduced wriggles) Even if all is well it's worth that 5 minute check up:) xxx
