Ive got a couple of babygrows and bibs, oh and some cute tiny socks but that is it! Think after the 20 week scan we will start looking properly at prams and cribs etc.

One babygrow! Oh and the travel system, but only because it was on a great offer and we couldnt not get it! Nothing else til after the 20 week scan.

Same as the others, we waited until after 20 week scan. I was itching to start buying but managed to resist.

Another one who waited until after the 20 week scan although most stuff was actually not bought until I got to the third tri once I had go my head around what we needed! I used maternity leave to do a lot of shopping and sort out the nursery!

We brought nothing until after the 20 week scan and that point we only brought a cuddly rabbit and a sleeping bag. We left most purchases until fairly late (I even posted as I was feeling guility I wasn'r as organised as others) We didn't even paint babys room until I was heavily pregnant. That said I probably went agaisnt the norm as I didn't want to get anything early.

We had bought a fair bit because we had a scan at 16 weeks. Our pram was on order, cot had arrived, loads of clothes and bedding and blankets etc, highchair. I'd got the cot bedding, her furniture was cleared out of our things.. I needed to order my pram then because there was a huge wait (arrived when I was 36 weeks pregnant) and everything else was bought on very good deals... little did I know that these deals were regular!
In retrospect I think it was pretty silly and we should have waited for the abnormal scan as that could have significantly influenced decisions like the travel system if there was anything noted perhaps? So I absolutely don't think it's unusual to have got nothing.

I've bought some bits but only when I see what I want & its on offer. Will be leaving the bigger things till later on or when past 20wks if they go on offer. I have a list of everything I want just watching for good deals, I am abnormally organised though. I wouldn't worry you have plenty of time!

We bought nothing until after I went on mat leave at 32 weeks. I had done a lot of research on car seats, buggies and cots but hadn't bought anything. My tri buddies nagged me to get on with it!!

I had bought a couple of bits, like vests and sleep suits, but nothing major. I waited till after the 20 week scan. I made a list of what I wanted and where to get it, for the best deal, to keep me occupied.

I am a control freak and an obsessive planner, I had bought a packet of babygrows ! I did however have an Amazon wishlist and a spreadsheet and was researching exactly what we were going to want / need. So, for example, I knew which pram we wanted and when it was on special offer when i was 19 weeks we did buy it as it was too good a bargain.

A soft leopard puppet which was actually meant to be present for my niece, but we ended up keeping it (and C still plays with it now). We then ordered the main bits after the 20 wk scan but only because we were told that we would have our deposit returned if something happened, and took delivery of main things like the pram and nursery furniture around 33 wks. It just means longer to eye up what you want and search for bargains. Make the most of your house being child free as this will be the last time for many years!

I haven't bought anything yet, and I am 20 weeks. For me it still feels far to early to buy anything.

Like others, we waited until after the 20 week scan too but I'd done homework on prams and we'd been to look once so after the scan we bought that fairly quickly - there was an offer on, then I moved on to crib and cot research! I never felt we didn't have enough time, though I'm glad I didn't leave my research / planning any later as it did take a while to get our heads around everything!

Your about a week and a half further on than me and I've bought nothing. Not so much as a bib or a sock!! I have started looking at car seats and travel systems but don't plan to buy anything until after the anomaly scan. It gives me time now to start researching though!
