Just wondering if you use white noise, what sound do you use and is there any particular reason for it?
E has the sound of an ossilating fan as she was born during a heat wave when we had the fan on in our room but then wouldn't sleep when it got cooler and we turned it off. After a few nights of us freezing with the fan on just so she'd sleep I found a white noise app with the fan noise on it!
A has running shower as when her reflux is particularly bad we stand in the kitchen with the tap running and this seems to quieten her a little. Couldn't find running tap on my app so running shower it was! However, since using it I'm constantly waking needing a wee!

The first night I brought S home he wouldn't settle in his crib or his carrycot at all. I put the sound of a river running on from a white noise app I downloaded in despair and he went straight to sleep for four hours! I then switched to womb noises when he went in to his crib and it worked for weeks. Occasionally I put the ocean sounds on for him during his (rare) daytime naps. He doesn't seem to mind which noises, just as long as there is something so I put on something I like listening to. Fire crackling is quite nice too!
