So I've done a thread before about what I couldn't wait for after pregnancy, but as the date gets nearer I've actually realised there's a few things I might miss. One will be my hair being in the best condition it's ever been, I've also loved my leg hair growth being diminished and I assume once they're gone I'll miss the loss of the baby kicks.
What have you all missed?

There's nothing at all I'll miss. Felt the same when I had my son. Means to an end, to me.

I missed my bump & literally carrying her around with me all the time. Can't wait to get a bump again!

I will miss the kicks and wriggles for sure but also that deep personal connection that it's just me and the baby at the moment...I don't wanna share!! Lol!!

I said to hubby the other day even when she is in my arms, I will miss not feeling her kicks in my tummy x

I loved my bump and feeling movements. I also liked how people treat you when you're obviously pregnant, randomers offering to help etc.

Sweetpea - I agree! I'm so used to having her to myself I don't really want to share her with anyone except H when she arrives!
I'll miss my hair not falling out! The shower is usually full of it but over the last 8 months there's barely been any.
I don't play the pregnancy card very often as I've been lucky to have a really easy time of it, but it's been nice to have an excuse to avoid the odd social event, or leave after just an hour or two!

I absolutely loved my bump too and despite having my little guy in my arms, I missed it so much when he arrived. Sounds stupid but I loved feeling him moving and knowing he was safe in there. It's amazing knowing your body is doing everything for them, it's scary when they arrive and you have to do everything lol!

Oh the hair thing is going to be traumatic for me too flossy. I think it'll look like a hair massacre in the bath when it starts falling out again!

I miss my bump, the wriggles and kicks! I also slept so well, barely slept since he arrived!

I miss my bump, feeling him move, seeing him move.
I loved it at stupid o clock, when 3rd tri insomnia kicked in, and he was wriggling and kicking away, as I was sat talking to him. Now, he's the same, a proper wriggler, and won't sit still for me to talk to him, ha.

I miss my bump moving around in the evenings, rubbing it and talking to him in there and also because I could wear what I wanted, I wore fitted tshirts to show it off. Now I am just fat again! :/

I really miss my bump. I loved feeling him kicking inside.

I do miss my bump, I felt so confident in my body when pregnant, and I definitely miss eating what I wanted without worrying about calories or weight gain!

I love having a bump, have never had great body confidence but love that having a bump means you don't look fat :-)
Seeing and feeling the movements.
Having “hormones“ as an excuse!
That I'll probably never be doing it again *sobs*

I still miss my bump, I loved my shape!
I also miss having thick shiny hair, it's the thinnest and lankest it's ever been now :(
The kicks were lovely but I don't miss them, especially as S was so high til the day before my waters broke.
I miss it being acceptable to sit on my bed stark naked, drinking chocolate milk watching old episodes of Buffy the vampire slayer. Was that just me?
