Hope we're all ok and starting to bloom!
I had a very traumatic day yesterday. Was at work Thursday when I randomly got a patch of light in my eye. I wear contacts and this annoyingly happens now and then but goes away after an hour or so. However, I woke up yesterday morning and it was still there. Took the morning off work and went to my doctor who couldn't see anything dodgy, but recommended I go to my optician as their equipment is better. Rang my optician, she was on holiday so they said to go to the eye clinic at the hospital. Four and a half hours, dilatey eye drops and laser scans later and turns out I'd got a blood clot in my eye! Crapped my pants! They tested my blood sugar, blood pressure and urine so they're just putting it down to preggo hormones. They've written me a note for my midwife (got my appt on Tuesday) and they're recommending I see an obstetrician just in case there's anything a bit more scary going on... Am a little freaked out by it all if I'm honest. Just wish I could see her now and put my mind at rest.
On the plus side, had our gender scan this morning and we're having our second little girl Let the name wars commence!
Love Charlotte xxxxx

Deep down I knew we'd end up with two girls. My husband is the last bearer off his family name (his dad is one of four, but all his uncles have girls) so feel a bit guilty that the family name will stop with him. I'm not doing this again though x

Me too! Are you at Shooters Jaime? Who's your midwife? (Have I already asked that?) xx
