I'm after a bit of advice. This is my 5th pregnancy although only one was successful. With all of them I had breast tenderness, sickness etc.. I am now 9 weeks and although my stomach is huge I have no tenderness and very little nausea. By this stage with Grace I was vomiting 10 times a day, and I'm yet to vomit at all. I am grateful that it's not like that again but I am worrying about a MMC. I have had one and with that I was still vomiting weeks after the baby had been lost (although I didn't know at the time). Do babies close together reduce the symptoms at all?
thanks for any advice x

Hi BLL. Remember that all pregnancies are different, with D I had very little sickness and sore boobs, with this pregnancy I've had a lot more sickness but my boobs aren't as sore. Have you been offered an early scan? If not is it something you would consider having for peace of mind? Try not to worry too much about it. Have you had any other symptoms? Maybe if you are concerned you could speak to your midwife? x

I vomited LOTS with Lucas and William, maybe about 3 times the whole pregnancy with Isaac and this time I have only had vomitting from mid second tri but it's linked to headaches.
I think given your history then it's totally understandable you are worried.
Have you spoken to the mw/gp is there a possibility of early scan? I had 2 mc and they said I met the criteria for early scans. I know it would only temporarily put your mind at rest but it might be worth asking

I think I might ask for an early scan. I have purposefully avoided it this time, with G was was scanned about 20 times through the pregnancy and spent the whole 9 months in a state of panic. This time I have purposefully avoided it and have actually been so much calmer, but now I've started to panic it may be time to bite the bullet and go and check on things x

I have only had one pregnancy so nothing to compare to and given your history, I can completely understand your worries. I had barely no symptoms at all in 1st trimester, in fact I still don't! I had similar panics myself and ended up booking a private early scan at 8 weeks. Every pregnancy is different though which makes it really hard to know what's 'normal'.

BLL - wow! Most of my closest friends have had 2, 3 or 4 babies and only one I can recall says her pregnancies were all alike. Everyone else had really varying symptoms and phases. Well done on staying calm so dfar, but an early scan sounds like a good prospect. Lots of vibes for good news xx

With my first I was sick from about 5.5 weeks and very tender boobs from the BFP (or maybe even before). This time, I managed to avoid the sickness until well into week 8 and I've only just this past week (13) had sore boobs.

I wanted to text you but lost my phone not long ago and therefore all my numbers. I haven't got to see the midwife yet apparently she's posted an appt but I haven't got it yet. Anyway the nausea seems worse so that's made me settle a bit. I hope you are all ok. I bet Agnes is really growing now. Grace is just crawling and taking steps (holding on) and getting into lots of scrapes x

So glad to see this! I thought of you earlier and thought I'd text but didn't want to be hounding you! Good news re the nausea... Glad you feel more settled. Agnes just spent a bit of time with my sister today, only left her with daddy or big bro before, but all went well - not sure why I was panicking!
Steps??? Oh my goodness. Big girl! Do feel totally free to post a pic. I lap up ALL the baby pics (motherhood has changed me, lol)
