We have had O on SMA LF for a few days now. Did anyone fund that's its really runny??? Even with Gaviscon in I can still use a no1 dr browns teat.
Also as its £7 for a tiny tin.... Can you get it on prescription?

I believe if you can show he needs the milk to improve his condition the GP can prescribe it. They were prepared to prescribe Aptamil AR if it worked for P x

Glad to hear something's helping him - must be awful seeing him in pain, poor little mite.
Did you decide about complaining about the GP?

Yeah it's thinner iirc. It didn't work for Henry but saying that we only used two tubs so about a week, and I know now that you should have at least 2 weeks on a new milk.

I've been told the Same as missusS re milk but I'm not sure I believe it.. I think E is lactose intolerant and the doctor wouldn't prescribe milk. We switched to aptimal comfort as could buy ourselves and the difference was immediate or within a day or two.. because she was no longer eating something her body couldn't handle. However you absolutely should be able to get it on prescription and my cousin has successfully.
We've been Constantly dismissed from the doctor when I say I think she's lactose intolerant. There is 60% less than normal in the comfort and she's been ok on it until we started weaning when she was having more in her diet. Today is day 11 of awful diarrhoea that starts mid bottle and ends 15 mins after one so we're back in to start the pushing all overaagain.
