Well ladies im just after a bit of reassurance from you really.
This is my 2nd pg but its been 9 yrs since I was pg and with my son my boobs didnt leak until after he was born.
Now im just shy of 21 wksand woke up this morning with a damp patch about the size of a 50p on my nightie!!! They are feeling quite tender today too and they havent felt tender for a long time until today.
Im sure its perfectly normal but as I said just want to hear from other people who have had it and do I have to worry about it happening all the time now?? im so worried they will start leaking while im at work or somewhere embarrassing!!

    Thanks Lovelies XX

    Hey hun,

I have had this from around 20 weeks too. They just tended to leak when i was sleeping and if i leant on them or something. They have leaked on and off since and i am now 38+5! Apparently it can mean that your body is preparing for breast feeding and that you may have a good supply. Not sure how accurate that it but it makes it a little easier to accept the leaking!

I wear breast pads all the time just now - just in case!

Mine started leaking from 23+4 and I wear breastpads (most days) just in case...there never seems to be awfully much though, just enough to leave a nice yellow stain
My sister said her's started leaking a little from 19 weeks so seems to be prefectly normal and hopefully is a good sign that things are in good working order!

Mine started leaking when I was about 18 weeks. I started wearing breat pads at first then realised they only ever leak on a night or when im not wearing a bra. My mw said the hormones that are used in breast feeding are higher on a nighttime which is why people often only leak at night (and why babies want to feed all night)

Aw thats good to hear, thanks ladies. I hope it means ill be able to give breastfeeding a good bash. Only last 8wks with ds as my milk supply began to dry off. Hopefully it will just be at night and actually I didnt wear my sleep bra last night an i usually do so perhaps that was part of the reason, I was lying on my side too so prob leaning on them a bit.
Thanks for the replies ladies, feel much happier knowing others have had this x

This is my first pregnancy and my boobs leaked for the first time on Saturday morning wheni was17+6. I was lying in bed , sat up and here was this wet patch! I was horrified-so was hubby i think!! lol!! We laugh about it now though. Just wasn't expecting leaky boobs till after baby was born and milk had come in. I looked in my pregnancy book and apparently it's normal, it's Colostrum-the first milk baby has...
