Anyone lost weight during their third tri? I'm struggling to eat just now and have lost just over half a stone since Christmas. Meaning I've put on about 1stone 3lb in the pregnancy (4 weeks to go)
MW measured bump last week at 35 weeks and bump was 37cm, scan estimated baby was over 5lb which was 2 weeks ago Now.
Should I worry about my weight loss? Will it effect the baby? Breastfeeding?
Most days I'm managing a banana, soup and 2-3 L water.

I havent lost weight (ahem and havent been stuffing my face with sweets either...) but that's not enough to eat.
I know you might not feel like it but little and often, you know you need to eat more esp if exercising too x
I had a similar conversation with my MW yesterday as I've put on 7lb during the pregnancy (4.5 weeks to go) and was worried that the baby wouldn't be getting everything it needs. If it's any help she didn't seem concerned at all as long as the baby/bump is measuring perfectly, and said that I should just count myself lucky.

Also have you tried something like yoghurt if you can't face 'proper' meals? Or making some smoothies?

Yeah Ive tried. I had a slice of toast this morning then threw it back up. Made a couple of oatcakes and cheese at lunchtime, managed one. Had a banana mid afternoon and just heating up soup just now.

There is chicken and rice in the soup so carbs and protein.

I know you've had a hell of a time lately and i would be the same with not eating in your shoes.
Baby will be ok but will be taking all their nutrition from you so could end up making you really poorly. try to get as much food in as you can. soup is a great idea.
i only put on 10lb while i was pregnant and gained nothing the last three weeks but i would be worried about losing much xx

It might not directly affect baby but I'd worry about your energy levels for labour and afterwards with the three kids to look after. Is there nothing you fancy? Could you face salad? Dry rolls? Not ideal but you need calories in you.
Are there supplements you could drink?

I'm still taking Pregnacare, folic and iron so that's something.
I'm sure there is protein powder in the kitchen somewhere but not sure if that's great while pregnant. I am really trying. My mate even brought me Chinese the other night, I managed 1 chicken ball! My mum keeps bringing me meals and again ill manage a few mouthfuls, then generally throw it back up.
I'm drinking as much as possible but can tell I'm still dehydrated.
I've got boxes and boxes of chocolate from Christmas a d do t even fancy that :-(

Do you think it's worth speaking to your midwife or GP to see if they can give you something, nutritional drinks or something?
