So I started to lose my plug yesterday..had back pain all wkend which got worse yesterday, combined with period type pains. More plug away this morning. I know this can go on for a while ie days & weeks but would get interested to hear how long it took some of you From this point to labour? I don't think I've even had any braxton hicks!
I know everyone is different but would be good to hear. My c-section is booked for Monday 18th & my hospital only does electives between 8am & 5pm so I'm worried incase things kick off outside of these hours.

I didn't lose any plug with O until I was pushing! This time I've been losing for a couple of weeks and still nothing. if pains etc continue and you're concerned about your section it may be worth giving your mw a shout to see if she can check you over? Hope you're well xx

Thanks ladies. Was with a member of consultants team yesterday & told him but he didn't seem concerned but he was clearly not for my maternal section either, despite instructions from my consultant that it had been discussed at length & she agreed. If my waters break I will literally cr*p myself. Thanks again.

I think I lost mine overnight then went into labour in the morning but I could be mistaken as I never seen it. I just suspect it dropped into the loo!!!

Cramps & back pain come & go, no consistency at all!
Was with midwife yesterday for pre op assessment & she says if I go into labour before Monday, I'm to stamp my feet for a section. As long as im less than 5cm there shouldn't be a problem out of hours.
She was so nice & didnt question my elective c-section - she maybe actually read my notes, shocker!
Still bouncing on ball & all that jazz - playing devils advocate Haha.
Thanks for replies ladies
