Anyone know anywhere to get a nice maternity coat from?
I have tried the usual online places - New Look, H&M, Mothercare etc but just wondering if there are any other places I have missed?
I am 16 weeks now and going back to school as a teacher tomorrow, so thinking as I am due in February I am going to need a coat that I can at least fasten for playground duty!

I just bought one in a bigger size that had toggles so at the end if I couldn't fasten the bottom the top half could be done up leaving the bottom to open around bump. I looked for weeks for a maternity coat and the only one I liked was £100 and I'm very glad I didn't pay that.

Like this where the bottom is open m.debenhams.com/.../prod_10701_10001_028020130203_-1. I just got it in a bigger size for comfort more than anything as I didn't know how much my boobs or rib cage would change and also though it would be good when slinging baby afterwards if it was too big normally.

Tried asos? I'm going to try eBay I think. Jojo?
I was thinking of trying to get away with heavy cardis but I really feel the cold - and am in Scotland - so will need one as due end of march.

I am planning on wearing my cape if it gets cold over October. Might be cheaper than a maternity coat and you can wear it afterwards

Actually that pic of mine was in an article for postpartum outfits.

What size? I have a lovely brown heavy coat to sell, quite long, from Debenhams. Think it's a 12? I got it because the ones in H&M etc were really thin and felt cheap, even though they were £50 or so

It was from Dorothy perkins but asos do some good ones too.

Thanks all, I hadn't thought properly about getting a normal coat that doesn't fasten over the bump, that's a good idea. I will check out ASOS and jojo's too... Thanks IDC but I'm a 14ish, maybe more towards 16 if I'm honest! Thanks anyway!
