Hi there, just trying to get bit here & there so i'm prepared. Need to get some maternity pads. I've not really looked at any yet but was wondering if anyone has any reccommendations? I've see tesco do thier own make, anyone used them? Also how many are you all getting? And are any of you getting dispoable knickers? I've seen tesco do thier own make of those to!

I got some pads from boots they also do huge pads that you can put under your sheet in bed near the end of pregnancy i found them usefull cos it was a new matress we had didn't end up needing tham so now use them for baby when i strip lo naked she loves its cos she has a really good kick around & i don't have to worry about messes on the rug!

I've just bought some knickers from Asda instead of disposable ones. They were only ??1 for 3 so I got 2 packs. I also bought some new knicker for me so I can use my old greying knickers after the birth and it doesn't matter about throwing them after. I think wearing normal knickers will help me feel a bit more human after the birth rather than some paper knickers

i can recomend always super night pads, and kotex night pads were ok (always 1s did the job and they not bulky)

i used lansinoh breast pads, very comfy and descreet, individually wrapped for traveling. xx

I would recommend boots and always pads, also the maternity mats. They are excellent to begin with when you are not used to the nappy. I also use them now for when my little on has nappy off play time. I also have one in my changing bag, incase when we are out the facilities are not clean. i bled big time for a week, lost lots of clots sorry tmi! I was having to wear two pad at a time and still soaking through, the disp knickers from boots too worked well, wore them for ages. sorry if tmi for you all. good luck to every 1
