Maternity pay advice!

you're taking half a year off work for maternity leave? typically it's 6 Weeks.
My work is having me take FMLA (family and maternity leave act) where you get up to 12 weeks but it's unpaid. You're lucky if you get paid at all for being out with the baby!

I think it depends where you are from newmommy. 6 months is standard maternity in the UK on average. 6 weeks must fly by!
SophieNicole I would recommend accessing legal advice to be on the safe side. What an awfully worrying time for you. It may be worth visiting your maternity policy at work too. Xx
