My skin has never been perfect but had really improved lately. Since the mc I've suddenly got lots of really big/painful spots on my chest and back. I've never had them there before. What can I use on then? The skin doesn't seem greasy but every morning there's more spots!

Mine has been awful since mc and more so this pregnancy. Are you on hormones? Sorry, can't remember what stage you were at. I think it is the hormone change. Unfortunately I'm a dreadful picker so my back looks awful now! Not helpful am I?!

I'm on clomid, or was to get my bfp! The skins not greasy tho so I'm stuck on what skin stuff to try! Urghh it's all such fun x

Its a hormone imbalance so spots, headaches and all sorts are fairly normal. My skin has been pretty bad too. x

Maybe exfoliate regularly? Although probably a bit tricky on your back. Have you changed shampoo or conditioner? Might be effecting it a bit

It does suck Rod :(
I hadn't thought of exfoliating! Will rope in navy boys help! X

I had it when I was pregnant - horrible big spots on my back! Couldn't wear certain tops. My beauty therapist friend told me to exfolilate too.

awww hun exfoliate gently so you dont hurt yourself, wash them thoroughly (try simple or dove soap I wouldnt use anything fragranced) and make sure theyre dry properly but again gently. does sound hormonal. I hate spots and have been getting them on my back with the pregnancy :( hugs x

Not mc but I think its hormones as my skin has gone to pot. Spots all over back shoulders chest eurgh. They will go in time as the hormones balance out. You can ask the doctor for an antibiotic that may help speed it up. I had erythromycin the first time

When I was on clomid for months after I had finished, I got terrible skin. I switched to simple products as anything else seemed to make it worse.

Sounds like I need to wait it out for hormones to settle then. Think my body (as well as me) is still a bit shell shocked and doesn't know what it's doing. X

Gb I had been wondering how you were. Is it this week you see the consultant for your results? Sending a hug x

Sending loads of vibes for Thur gb. I'm going back to work on Friday in an effort to feel more like myself. Not sure what I'm going to tell my patients tho, they're all long term patients of mine and we are all close. Not sure if its fair to dump my emotions on them tho :(

Thank you NG. I hope work goes ok. I was sobbing at the thought of going back as I feel really low in confidence after everything. But it hasn't been that bad. My lovely class of 16 year olds asked where I had been - I just smiled and replied face lift but I was thinking of getting a refund! I can understand why you are unsure what to tell your patients - maybe the age old woman's problems might work. Although if you are close to them maybe telling them would not be such a bad thing? Sorry not much help was I? X
