Good morning everyone
apologies for not being on last week - I took a bad stomach bug, was at doc on call & then my gp for tests which I will get results of today. Says bacterial infections are common in pregnancy - is there ANYTHING pregnancy cannot cause?!
We have our new house sale agreed but it won't be built until Christmas / shortly after. We accepted an offer on our house on Friday so will see how that all pans out.
Hope everyone is well & I will be back on later to reply - happy Monday folks!!

Morning, room for another one?
SaSaSi - are you feeling better now or still poorly? My toddler has also had a tummy bug, started last Monday and he only started picking up a bit yesterday, I'm keeping everything crossed that I don't get it! Great news about your house, I know how much time you've spent thinking about it all and what it means to you. I hope the next few months run smoothly and your house is sold with ease.
AFM, 14 weeks today! I had moments last week when I didn't think I'd get to this point but thankfully all seems okay the moment (frantically touches wood). Another day at home for us today just whilst we make sure F is completely better, perhaps go for a walk later. I've bought some maternity jeans so I'm looking forward to wearing those and being a bit more comfortable!
Hi to all who follow, will pop back later.

Morning all, hope everyone had good weekends.
SaSaSi - sorry that you've been ill. Hope the results show it was nothing too serious. Keeping my fingers crossed everything goes smoothly with the house.
WG - hello! Glad everything seems ok and hope you are managing to get some rest.
AFM - had a lovely weekend but I was tired out. Did a bit too much on Saturday. We went to the carboot yesterday but there wasn't much in terms of baby stuff so I was a bit disappointed. We have our scan tomorrow and I'm starting to get really nervous. I haven't really had time to think about it much but now its here I think I'm going to be a nervous wreck by tomorrow! More packing and sorting to do today but I'll take it steady!
Hello to those on later x

Welcome Weathergirl! So pleased all is going well with pregnancy - its such a happy time but so worrying too. FX the bug stays away from you, it is really not pleasant! Maternity jeans are amazing, I imagine I will wear them a long time after birth too haha
Browny - be careful and rest yourself plenty - I know its hard when you have so much to do but you and the baby are so so important. FX for your scan tomorrow, so exciting to see the difference from 12 weeks to 20 weeks!

Sasasi - oh no! Hope you're feeling better now. I think you can blame pregnancy for everything to be honest. Lower immune system and all that, it's rubbish though. Great news on the house. Do you have somewhere to go in between houses? Hope it all goes well.
Hi WG! Glad to hear F is nearly better and yay for mat jeans. They are sooo comfy. I don't see how I will ever go back to normal ones.
Browny - take it easy today! If you are packing make sure it's pillows and things! Shame about the car boot but I am sure more stuff will come up. We were just driving around on Saturday and saw a big baby sale in one of the churches but it had finished by the time we went back to have a look. Boo. Good luck for the scan! I am sure everything will be fine!!
AFM- We found a house we like on the weekend. Bit of a weird one though cos when we called to put in an offer the agent said we would have to provide evidence of out decision in principle (fine), photo id and proof of our deposit via bank statements. I think they buyer was let down in January by a young couple so whether he thinks we would be the same I don't know but I'm not convinced I want to give my bank statements to a stranger. Talking to our mortgage man either today or Wednesday though so hopefully it won't delay it too much and we will accepted this week. The rules change today though too so I'm not sure if we need to do our decision thing again. Nightmare! All good ont the baby front.

Hi PP i missed you! Welcome to 2nd tri! BBQ sounds amazing. Our weather was a bit pants so a definite no go. Do you have plans for your leave?
14/04/2014 at 09:37
PP - the weather makes such a difference doesn't it? Hope the BBQ went well. A weekend away lucky you!
Jonesy - shame about the church sale. Good luck sorting the offer out. It does seem a bit far fetched to have to do all that just to put in an offer. But I guess it'll be worth it if the house is 'the one'.

Morning all, happy Monday, bleurgh! At least it's Easter this week.
Sasasi - hope you're feeling better and good luck with the housey stuff.
WG - congrats on getting to 14 weeks :) Hope F is better.
Browny - make sure you take it easy missy. 20 week scan is obviously a massive deal, so understand your nerves. I am sure all will be OK with baby Browny though, vibes for tomorrow. What time is your scan?
PP - welcome to the marathon 2nd tri! BBQ sounds lovely
Jonesy - can they even do that? People get burned in selling houses all the time but you can't just ask to see people's finances! Glad all is good on the baby front.
AFM - not much to report. I am sure I am starting to feel movement in my belly, nothing concrete, just the odd flutter. Had a pretty chilled weekend and am still tired, cannot motivate myself at the moment!

Gavi - its at 1:30pm so I have quite a wait tomorrow unfortunately! Thats how it started for me too. Sometimes it felt like they were tickling me from the inside, other times like like bubbles were popping!
I've packed one box and am now taking a break lol. I'm so tired already and its only 9:30!
14/04/2014 at 10:00
I've asked the mortgage man if we need to do that. Seems a bit extreme to me, my mum went a bit mental when I told her about it too haha.
Gavi - the flutters are lovely aren't they?
Browny - one box is progress! Have a rest before the next one.
14/04/2014 at 10:30
Browny - take it easy over the next few days after your busy weekend. I'm finding the slightest busy day completely knackers me out, mentally more than physically sometimes though. Will be thinking of you tomorrow, I've been a lot more nervous going to scans/appointments this time compared to when I was pregnant with F. Strange isn't it? Perhaps with my first it was a case of ignorance is bliss!
SaSaSi - you're right, maternity jeans will be handy post birth too. Leggings were my best friend last time haha.
PP - lovely to 'see' you over here. Yay to having a BBQ, I love BBQs but always end up eating far too much! Where are you off to for you weekend away? Hope the weather is good.
Jonesey - I don't envy you on the whole buying a new house thing, it's so stressful. I swore we'd never move again after we moved here a few years ago. Great news that you've found somewhere you like though. Hope it all goes smoothly for you.
Gavi - How lovely you think you might be feeling movements, it's so hard to tell at first I think. I often wondered whether I had wind!
It's a lovely sunny day here but I just don't feel up to doing much. I cancelled F's swimming class just to be on the safe side so the plan is to try and chill out today.

PicklePants - yes we do, I think thats why Im so excited! Its not turnkey so we are not tied to suppliers or anything. Cant wait to have my dream kitchen! Enjoy getting away over Easter!
Jonesy - plan to move in with my folks - how wise that is with a newborn I dont know haha but they will be a great help! FX you have the house sorted by end of the week.
Gavi - very exciting to feel movements! Im with you on the tiredness, this 2nd Tri energy boost has clearly missed me too.
