Rio you'll be needing to jump to 2nd tri yourself very soon! I loved getting out of 1st tri before. Well done for going to a hen party. Not chance would I have done it as I was exhausted last time for the full 9 months.
I am feeling fine, just tired but then a one year old who wakes up several times a night could be the reason for that! I'm hoping to get out in the sun today with F and do a few odds and ends. X

Hello everyone, I didn't manage to get on over the weekend so I'll try and catch up with personals from then too.
Rio - hen party sounds a great way to spend your weekend. Hope you manage to get some rest to make up for it today.
TP - congratulations and welcome. I'll have a 17 month gap - I'm accepting that if I manage to get dressed it'll be an achievement! It'll be lovely for them to be close in age. Hope you manage some rest today too!
MG - if you're a googler, stop - it will only send you crazy worrying yourself.
CC - hope the sickness doesn't hang around for you.
Saff - great news on the scan and yay for moving onto 2nd tri. Sorry if I've missed you.
DD - so, did you tell your friends in the end?
Elsie - welcome to 1st tri and congratulations!
JJ - oh no, hope things start to improve again for you soon.
AFM - we've had a lovely 1st Father's Day weekend, just relaxing and having some lunch (picnic) down by the river before shopping on Saturday and then out for dinner last night. Then M gave H the best present of sleeping last night - or at least not waking up to play for hours! Which just topped off the weekend. Bump-wise, I'm fully off the tablets and other than the odd sicky moment which is gone when I snack, I'm doing good. Especially as I've not had any more gallstone attacks either. Just over 1 week now until scan day. 11+3.

Rio- good luck with telling work!
TP - enjoy the sunshine with D. I was asleep by 9 last night thanks to my non sleeping children, although they both slept through too for a change.
S - your weekend sounds lovely, great that you're feeling so much better. I did tell my friends, one of them made a comment about us having another and it spiralled from there.
Scan tomorrow afternoon. We had a fairly busy weekend, BBQ on sat. I had a hungover H yesterday, so treated him to a mcds breakfast, then R had dancing exams, visit to my dad for Father's Day and popped in to see my mum in hospital on the way home. It's a lovely day here today, so we really should get out and enjoy it! Hope you all have a lovely day. 11 +6

Rio - have fun telling more people!
TP - Hope you are ok after the past couple of weeks! Been thinking of you xx
Sapphire - Hope the next week goes fast for you. x
Debbydoo - Hope you have some fun in the sun! Good luck for tomorrow.
AFM - I had a bit of a scare this weekend when I had some light brown spotting on Saturday. Hardly any in reality, but of course I freaked out. However, there's been none since, no pain etc and my tests are still getting stronger. I felt sick on and off all day yesterday and my boobs are still very sore. So, all good signs. I'm only 4 weeks! I cant deal with this stress!
My early scan is booked for 4th July, so only 18 days to go...I'm nervous but hoping for a positive outcome.
By my LMP I'm 4 + 2 but by ovulation I'm 4 + 0. So by scan day will be either 6+6 or 6+4. I hope they can find something. x

Rod - rubbish about Saturday, but it's lovely that you have the date of the early scan already so you can start counting down.
CC - oh no, boo to the sickness. We'll be over in 2nd tri soon and hopefully it'll all calm down.
16/06/2014 at 18:35

Rio - Sounds like you had a good weekend. Have fun telling work! I've had to tell the 2 main people I work with as I work in a early years unit so we have to have risk assessments if your pregnant.
TP - hope you managed to get out we haven't had any sun where I am today :(
Sapphire - oh no gallstones doesn't sound good, fingers x attacks stay away.
DD - Hope you managed to enjoy the weather! What exams did R do? As well as working in an early years unit I teach dance 3 nights a week too! Hope she got on well!
Rod - Hope everything is ok now! Keep calm and (try) to relax and not stress I am sure everything will be ok. You deserve it!
CC - I will be joining the FB group, I find MD quite hard to get on my phone! (My initials are LF)
FM - boo to those symptoms hope they pass soon!
AFM - We told our parents yesterday, my mum cried and did the whole my baby is having a baby (I am nearly 27!!) my dad is a very secretive man with feelings but he hugged me which he has only done twice in about 10 years (one being the wedding day) so I think he was chuffed. H's parents were pleased they already have a grandson who they don't see very much so I think they are hoping for a different relationship with future grandchildren.
Was up again in the night last night with stomach ache, this seems to be my main symptom I though it was the pregnancy care vits to start but I have stopped taking them and switched to just folic acid! I will talk to my doctor at my appointment but I'm sure he will just say its normal! Sore boobs are starting to cause a problem when I am teaching dance as its not easy to jump about when your boobs feel like they are going to fall off! Hoping that one goes soon!
Have a good evening everyone.

Elsie - she had a jazz and tap exam. She's only 3, so it was her first lot, she was in and out of each in about 5 Mins! I think for her age group it's just a formality really to get them into the way of it when they're older? (Correct me if I'm wrong!)
Riod - sorry you had a scare over the weekend, hope you're ok
CC - more sickness sucks! Hopefully it will disappear soon
FM - hope the MWs take care of you when you see them.
Elsie - ouch to dancing with sore boobs!

I have the midwife on Thursday so I'll make her aware of everything see what I can have. Some meds are safe in pregnancy but not for my heart condition.
17/06/2014 at 17:15
Debbydoo - that sounds right, it just gets them used to the situation!
