I have been busy busy all weekend, awol from the board, just logged in to find its been drama central MDD. That is not allowed - okay. So glad you & baby are okay though and bleeding is easing off. Better scan pic than last time too :-) When is your NHS 12 week scan?
Right what I have i been up? Friday afternoon an old friend came to visit. Haven't seen her for approx 1 year and in August she moves to Australia - feels a bit unreal. I used to be her lodger when i first left uni 11years ago! Her daughter is now 6 and my LO thought she was the bees knees and they played together all afternoon, was so sweet.
Saturday. H build LO new bed. It looks fab. LO and I went to "brunch" at my yard (was just a little charity fundraiser basically - but hell if it involves food, i'm there!) then I did a horsey transport job on saturday afternoon for the most chaviest people i have ever met. The kind of people you'd avoid the isle in Asda if they were yelling at their 3 kids! I wouldn't say I'm sob but blimey ..... They had 3 horses too and my trailer only takes 2 at a time, so had to do two trips!
I went out with my friends saturday evening to a pub/beer fest where friends Hubbys band were playing. Great evening but band were outside in marquee so we were freezing come 11pm, especially since I was on the J2Os and the bar kept insisting on pouring them into plastic glasses and adding ice!!Yesterday was slightly less busy, found time to ride my horse (he was a star as usual) and had to message one of the ladies on the yard that works for a horsey clothing company to see if maternity jodphurs exist as mine are soooo tight. She says her company do make some and she gonna track some down for me. Yaaay
My cold is much better but just to prove to me i have been overdoing it, I had woken up with a coldsore. GRRRRR. Havent had one of those for a long long time

Mdd, again I am delighted for you. I hope that's the end of the random bleeds now!
HF, sounds like a busy weekend. I find there's only so many soft drinks you can drink when you're out. I get bored after a few hours. ( and tired!)
AFM, I think I've finally got a little bump! Yayyy! It's gone really hard over the weekend rather than just flabber and bloating that was kind of squishy! Other than that I've nothing to report really.
Good luck to everyone this week with scans. Hi to mrs bass if you stick your head in!

HF - Yeah I know, I really was drama central! Hopefully no more drama from me though! I plan to have a very uneventful time of it now. Sounds like you had a busy and good weekend, I don't know how you fit everything in!
Imp - yay for the bump, although you know the drill, we need a pic!! The bleedings much better thanks and I was really sick this morning just after I posted this so everything seems to be fine! Also, can you post a link to the amazing work comfy trousers, I think I need a pair, I literally have about 5 items of clothing that I can fit into!
17/06/2013 at 09:46
What do you think? Bump or flabber?
17/06/2013 at 09:51
Definate bump!! Look how high it is! That's such a cute bump. Are those 'the' trousers!?!? xxx
Def bump! Very cute.
Morning ladies, just a quickie as I have a client in 10 mins! Sounds like everyone had a good weekend.
Missdeedee- glad all is settling down for you and hopefully that's all your drama over!
No change here really, getting headaches but I think it's tiredness. Been drinking loads of peppermint tea and its helping with the bloating. We had a take away plus a cooked breakfast at the weekend so really watching my diet this week to make up for it. Hopefully not too much damage done!
Have a great day everyone x

They are mdd, when I'm on my laptop in a bit I'll post the link. They're amazing!
GB, I've found that I'm dehydrated all the time no matter how much water I drink. I think the body filters it more quickly when pregnant and I think you need more blood so you need to be drinking loads. I find I get headaches a bit too, but if I drink loads of water I tend to be able make them pass. Try that 4head stick, it's quite good too.

Missdeedee - I'm so please that all seems to be ok this morning. I was thinking about you all day yesterday.
HF - wow another busy weekend for you! Most of it sounds lovely, apart from the moving job. Hope the maternity jodphurs are comfortable when you get them.
Imp, I love your little bump, it is so cute. I also want to know if those are 'the' trousers??
Gymbunny - headaches can be a pregnancy symptom, as well as the tiredness, because your blood thins out. Don't worry about the diet, you're eating for two now ;-)
AFM - jealous of Imp's bump today as mine seems to have turned back to flab. It was hard yesterday but is squishy again today, not sure why :-(. I'm trying to pack for my holiday and am packing both maternity and normal shorts etc as I really don't know what I'll need but at the moment I can't do my suitcase up! I'm going to need to ditch some stuff but I can't work out what.
Had a nightmare about starting my new job and having to tell my new boss about the baby. In my dream it did not go well. Let's hope the reality is different!

sorry x-posted - I am so buying those trousers! One of my leaving presents was a gift card from Next so I know what I'll be spending it on....
17/06/2013 at 10:07
Imp, you and I are a similar size - which size did you buy?
17/06/2013 at 10:08
Missed you there P.
Do your mat shorts fit? If so I would take them, they must be more comfy? Sorry about the nmare, I'm sure it's all going to be fine but it's understandable that you're anxious about it.
They are "the trousers".
17/06/2013 at 10:15
Mine are a 10R. Next tailoring always comes up a bit big anyway so they're probably between a 10/12 really. They are honestly as comfy as joggers!

I have discovered today that my local Next has just stopped doing its maternity range. New Look stopped doing theirs last week. Where are we supposed to shop?? I much prefer to try things on than bother with the faff of online shopping and returns but it seems like I don't have much choice. How annoying.
On the plus side I bought a lovely non-maternity jersey maxi dress today that shows off my bloating/bump. It has hardened back up today and gone less flabby, which I'm happy about. :-)
17/06/2013 at 17:41
The only places near me that stick maternity in store are top shop and h&m. I ordered my next stuff online.
I have to also admit, I've been buying a few bits (ok, a lot) on eBay. I've bought a couple of Isabella Oliver things, and some gap and mothercare stuff.
17/06/2013 at 18:03
I found H&M did some nice stuff last time i was pregnant.
I tried on my maternity jeans from last time, this morning. THey are huge!! They clown trousers. Well okay, not quite that bad but i didnt think they were gonna stay up on their own. I cant get my regular jeans done up. So feel like are gonna fall down all the time. ARRGHHH!
17/06/2013 at 18:11
MDD, I'm still over the moon about your happy update yesterday. I hope you are still taking it easy. Glad you were sick today but only for reassurance. Lets hope it stops tomorrow.
HF, my gosh you are one busy lady, where do you get your energy from and can I have whatever you're having!
Imp, loving the bump and the maternity trews.
Gymbunny, hope the headache has gone. Like imp says, I too need to drink gallons of water otherwise I'm always on the verge of a headache.
Penny, our next is the same and its so annoying, I can't do with the faff of sending stuff back.
Afm, I bought similar maternity trousers to the next ones in the gap sale today, I also bought mat jeans too, think I will be living in those too. Bought a lovely grey maxi skirt from h&m, not a maternity one, but has a stretchy waist band. Imp, was it you looking for one?
I have got a horrible work day out of the way and can now start to wind down on my project over the next two days and then scan on Thursday and jollies!
17/06/2013 at 18:22
I was looking for one mrs P, yes. I've just ordered one from asos actually but I've no idea what it'll be like until it arrives. Did h&m have black too?
17/06/2013 at 18:35
I didn't see one, but they grey one was randomly placed on a rail with other stuff. Gotta love h&m.
