Hi ladies, hope you all had a good weekend and managed to survive the heat! Thankfully it's a bit cooler today, which is something I thought I'd never say!
We told my parents and the in-laws our news at the weekend which was received very well, they're all happy to be getting another grandchild to spoil, and it now feels a bit more real now that other people know! Will be keeping it quiet from everyone else until we're nearer the 12 week mark.
Rosco - I've been thinking about you this morning and hoping that you will be receiving positive news from your scan. Big hugs xx
Hope everyone else is well.

Woowoo - telling people makes it feel very real. My PIL know but my parents don't I'm seeing them on Friday so will tell them then.
Thank you for thinking of me I went for the scan this morning. She tried and external scan and could see the sac and possibly a foetal pole so she suggested an internal scan to see if we could see more. Obviously I said yes and on the internal she was able to see the little bean and it had a healthy heartbeat. I was dated at 6+5 which is pretty much bang on as I am 6+3 today by dates. So all is well and the bleeding was just one of those things. I saw a MW also who gave me the EPU number in case I have any other bleeding or problems but for now I'm normal and we're both healthy! The sonographer was so nice she gave us a picture and said she really really wanted to find the heartbeat as we were so nice!

That's brilliant news! I imagine it was amazing to see the little heartbeat xx

It was quite surreal especially as I don't feel any different! I'd tried not to get my hopes up in case it had all gone wrong or it was too early to see but when we could see it I was so relieved it brought a tear to my eye. My H said it nearly made him cry too!
