I hope the sun is shining where you are, it looks a lovely morning here. F has his last swimming class this morning, have decided to take a bit of a break. After that I need to nip to the shops for a few bits in preparation for potty training! Eek! This afternoon we'll take a walk to a friend's to drop her little one's birthday card off.
I just can't wait for my scan on Wednesday. Does anyone else have a scan this week?

WG- That sounds like a lovely day! Good luck with the potty training. I bet you are excited about your scan. Mine is next Tuesday! A long day at work for me today followed by a belated birthday meal with a friend. A nice end to the day.

WG good luck with the potty training! It will be lovely to have a walk in this weather. Not long til your scan at all! Mines next Wednesday.
Peachy enjoy your meal out, sounds good. Not long til your scan either!
October is going to be a busy month in the middle with a lot of us due around the same time! Not much to report, only a week til half term which I'm really looking forward to as I want to get to the scan to check everything is OK. Achy today from the gardening I did Saturday! Think its because I didn't move much yesterday I've seized up. I'm like an old woman already ;)!

WG - sounds like you have a nice day planned, not long until your scan at all!
Peachy - enjoy the meal, not long til your scan either
Bunny - yes looks like it will be a busy month! Not long until half term, wish I was off!
AFM - weekend has gone far too quickly. I've got my next midwife appointment on Friday and 4 weeks til scan! Not much to report other than H and I booked a week in menorca yesterday, last break for a while and I'm looking forward to chilling in the sun x

WG - sounds like a lovely day. Good luck with the potty training! Its a lovely morning here but forecast rain this aft :(
Peachy - hope you have a nice meal later.
Bunny - hope the aches ease soon. You shouldn't have done so much!
MrsL - holiday sounds lovely! When do you go?
AFM - the engagement party wasn't as bad as I expected, however I felt so uncomfortable all night as Sod's law kicked in and my tummy decided it was going to try and stretch loads whilst there. It felt like it was splitting down the middle! Everyone was stood up talking the whole night, and I found it hard on my back so I kept having to sit down. Felt like an old lady! I overdid it though as I woke up in the night with cramp in both my calves (ouch!) and yesterday morning had period type pains in my lower back. Felt ok in the afternoon though.
Feel quite tired today so might have a chilled one. I want to do some gardening but not sure my backs up to it yet so will just see how it is once I've done my exercises.
Hello to those that follow! X

Peachy - I'm definitely excited about the scan, just hope all is okay. Next Tuesday will soon come round for you :-) Enjoy your meal out tonight.
Bunny - sounds like next week is going to be busy for scans! Hope your stiffness eases soon.
MrsL - a week in Menorca sounds fab!
Browny - I hope your stretching pains have eased. Perhaps postpone the gardening until your back is feeling better. I need to get out and do some weeding but haven't felt up to it.

Morning all, happy Monday (bleurgh!)
WG - that sounds like a nice day, good luck with the potty training! Are you going to find out the flavour on Wednesday?
Peachy - hope your day is not too stressful, maybe have a teeny tiny vino with your friend if it is!
Bunny - totally get why you're tense about the scan, you've been through a lot. Hope the time between now and scan passes quickly
Mrs L - ooooo, it's lovely to have a holiday to look forward to :)
Browny - make sure you rest please, don't want you overdoing it.
AFM, not much to report, had a nice chilled weekend, and not really wanting to be at work this week. My two team members have now left, so it's me on my tod (well, working on what we have left of the account anyway!). Hopefully it'll go quickly though

Good Morning Ladies!!
WG - Good luck with potty training! I bet you are relieved to have it out the way before baby arrives! I hope all goes well on Wednesday at your scan! I have mine next Friday.
peachy - I hope your day goes smoothly. Enjoy your meal tonight!
bunny - Yes October is a busy one, especially if they all turn up on time! I hope the pains ease soon :)
MrsL - When are you going to Menorca? Some sunshine, rest and relaxation before baby arrives sounds ideal!
Browny - Pleased to hear that the party wasn't as bad as you were expecting. Take it easy today, enjoy the weather!
Gavi - Pleased that you had a chilled weekend. Hope your week goes quickly!
AFM - I worked all weekend and over did it yesterday. I do too much and I know I do, but if I don't do it then it doesn't get done. Grr. I have 2 days off now though, so today is going to be a chilled one. Tomorrow I am going to attempt to make a marvel birthday cake for my sister. This may be challenge too far for me!!
Bumpwise, all is ok! Keep feeling the odd movement not 100% sure though!
Hi to all that follow.

Gavi - that sucks that you are on your own all week :( we've managed to get tickets for Saturday - so excited!!
Boo - you should not over do it!! Make sure you rest up today x
19/05/2014 at 12:41
WG - Good luck for the scan on Wednesday, it is very sunny here - not appreciating the heat though sadly as stuck at work!
Peachy - Enjoy your meal out this evening :)
Bunny - Sorry to hear you are struggling today, hope those naughty joints get themselves lubricated up for you as the day goes on x
MrsL - Jealous of your holiday plans! Hope midwife appointment goes well and it'll be scan time before you know it!
Browny - No gardening! Give those poor legs a rest after all that walking and getting up/down at the party. Glad to hear it wasn't as bad as you'd thought though :)
Gavi - Hope work isn't too stressful being by yourself x
Sue - I'm the opposite and quite disappointed that nobody seems to have noticed I'm pregnant yet despite what I thought was a fairly decent bump on me. Also get stuck in with personals so we can get to know you better!
boo - I know the feeling about wanting to get things done but regretting it afterwards! Hope you are managing to do a bit of relaxing today x
AFM - Thank you to those of you who posted about my viability day yesterday! Still a bit starstruck at making it to 24 weeks to be honest, got routine appointment with midwife next Tuesday (25+2) and Consultant appointment on 12th June (27+4) where we should find out the plan for later pregnancy. I've accepted the need for the c-section now (although still disappointed) so I'm sure they'll be happier with me knowing they aren't going to have a fight on their hands trying to convince me!
19/05/2014 at 12:42
Boo - make sure you take it easy!
Browny - YAY, so glad you got some! Come on you R's!
19/05/2014 at 12:47
Gavi - yes we're hoping we'll be able to find out the sex. I'm so excited! A nice chilled weekend sounds great, hope work isn't too bad this week now that you're on your own.
Sue - glad all is well.
Boo - I'm dreading potty training to be honest but having only one child in nappies has it's appeal! It's hard to find the balance between taking it easy and getting stuff done, isn't it?
PS - do you feel better for having come to terms with the need for a C-section?
19/05/2014 at 12:51
WG - I do feel a bit better about everything now. I'm hoping after seeing the consultant and getting a bit more information about it in June that'll help settle the last few doubts I've got. My H wouldn't even consider letting me try and have a natural birth and he was really worried I was going to insist on it and put myself at major risk bless him. I've had friends tell me that planned c-sections are much nicer overall than having an emergency one at the last minute so I'm taking some comfort from that too. I just hope now that my body copes how it should with 3rd tri and later pregnancy and that we can keep Paperclip nice and snug in there until the 38/39 weeks they are hoping for :)
19/05/2014 at 12:52
PS - don't know how I missed you there. Viability seems like such an important milestone. Glad you are OK with the C section, even if it's not ideal. At least you'll be able to plan a bit :)
19/05/2014 at 19:01
Browny - we go first week of July, can't wait!
Gavi - glad you gad a chilled weekend
Boo - enjoy your days off hope the weathers good
Ps - sounds like things are going well so far, hope they continue that way x
19/05/2014 at 20:16
Argh! Computer just ate my reply with personals!
Those that are aching or have overdone it I hope you have rested today or can take it easy tomorrow.
PS you are definitely over half way there now! A
I think most who have a planned c section are extremely happy with the experience. Glad you are OK with it, especially if it puts you in less danger x
