Couldn't see a thread for today. How was everyone's weekends?
I have eaten waaaay too much celebrating H's 30th. Went for afternoon tea yesterday in London and it was so lovely, but so filling. Had a rubbish night's sleep last night, tossing and turning loads and so really struggled to get up this morning. Baby was really active in the middle of the night so it was hard to get myself back to sleep when I kind of just wanted to lay there and feel all the wriggles. Today is going to be a struggle!
Hope everyone else is ok!

Morning Popcorn! Sounds like you had a lovely weekend. And if you can't over eat on your OHs bday while pregnant when can you?!?! :-)
Had a good weekend, went shopping with my Mum on sat for her wedding outfit for my sisters wedding. All sorted now and we got back in time to pop up to the pub in the sunshine.
Yesterday had a lovely bbq at a friends house. Best bit is they are really close with my cousins and god kids so they were all there too. Really nice and chilled. Back to work now and I really can't be bothered. I buggered off early Friday to "work from home" :-)

Popcorn- Eating wayyyy too much is excusable when there is a birthday as a excuse! (I always manage to find another excuse even if this isn't the case too..) Sounds like you have a lovely day. Aww I know what you mean about just wanting to lay still and feel baby. I have felt our little lady quite a lot over the weekend and have just felt like I wanted to go and lie down so I didn't miss any of it! Hope you have a relatively quiet day.
AFM- I have had a lovely weekend in the sun. Threw a bit of a strop on Saturday morning because it was so hot and I had NOTHING to wear. We ended up going shopping and I bought a few jersey maxi dresses which are so comfy. Went to see my friend and her 2 babies yesterday (3 months and 14 months, she is mental!) which was so lovely. They were both on their best behaviour so I want a baby like one of those please! She gave me some clothes for baby too and said she will keep whatever her LO grows out of now to see if I want anything which is good. Cleared all the garden yesterday so it looks quite nice again (apart from the gigantic trees which are next door!! argh!!) and then had a late night watching a film so struggled to get up this morning.
Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Popcorn - Sounds like you had a nice weekend, minus the rubbish nights sleep of course. Early night tonight!
LP - Sounds like another nice weekend, the joys of going back to work on a monday though eh?
Sam - Another one who needs an ealry night tonight. I know what you mean about having nothing to wear. I had to go buy some shorts on Saturday cos it was too hot to wear anything else.
AFM - Well we had a nice weekend of ignoring reality. Went with my sister who bought our baby bouncer on Saturday and then with the in laws yesterday and we got cot mattress. They also got us a good few bits from the mamas and papas Once Upon a Time nursery set, we got cot bedding, lightshade, mobile, changing mat and wallpaper border. Back to work today and now getting anxious about our appointment tomorrow...trying to keep busy and hoping today goes by quickly!!!

I cant believe this thread isnt 2 pages long, it usually is by now!
PC - Afternoon tea sounds lovely, where abouts did you go?
LP - your weekends sounds very relaxed, when is your sisters wedding?
Sam - 14 months and 3 months! - wow that sounds like hard work, but how nice to be so close in age when they grow up! and Yes i agree, maxi dresses are definitely the way forward for me too.
AFM - baby is very active and last night my belly was all over the place with a kick here and kick there, they were very definite pokes to the outside too that H was watching it from the other sofa :) I love it!!! I also struggled to get up this morning, but that could have been due to some late night bedroom antics ;)
poppy 25+1 xx

Popcorn, sounds like a fab weekend for your H's 30th. I love afternoon tea.
LP - seems you had better weather than is this weekend, hope your day doesn't drag too much.
Sam - I've recently bought a couple of jersey maxi dresses, definitely the way to go for summer bumps! Eeek @ your friend's age gap, will be fab when they're older though.
Mrs M - sounds like a productive weekend! Hope tomorrow comes soon x
PS - impressed you can still be bothered with bedroom antics! H refuses to go near me when I'm pg, but not sure I'd be up for it if he tried now, I'm exhausted by the time I get to bed #oldbeforemytime
AFM - busy morning so far, took A for a haircut, now he looks all grown up and I'm a bit about it, H is happy though. Also been to post office and shops and now off to soft play to meet some friends.
Bump is all good, not much to report really.

LP- Glad you managed to get your mum's outfit sorted with enough time for a pub visit. And th BBQ sounds lovely. Nothing better that a good get together in the sun!
Mrs Mack- Looks like you had a very productive weekend! Hope today goes quickly for you and let us know how you get on tomorrow.
PS- It will be lovely in a year or so when they both entertain each other. It is so lovely seeing them both and she really is super mum :) You don't get any sympathy when your tiredness is down to bedroom antics! haha I can't wait until H can feel baby moving. He keeps putting his hands on my tummy but it's a little too early. He does play guitar to baby and we did have a sing song to bump over the weekend (I don't know how much baby would have approved as we are both tone deaf!)
BG- ohh busy busy bee this morning! Have fun at soft play. Glad bump is doing well and I'm sure you will get used to A's hair soon enough.

LP - sounds like you had a nice weekend, how long til the wedding now?
Sam - nice to get some maternity clothes, I need some more long maxi dresses too. Sounds like a productive day yesterday!
MM - you're sounding very organised! Apart from clothes and a few cloth nappies we actually have nothing! We are starting to decorate the nursery and it's evolved in to completely turning the house upside down so we need to wait until it's all settled really. I'm jealous of your organisation! I hope today goes quickly for you and everything goes ok tomorrow xxx
PS -ah so lovely to be seeing baby moving around from the outside. I love it when it happens although am convinced that I am going to go cross-eyed because I spend so much time starting at my stomach! We went to the Soho Hotel which does a Sunday afternoon thing where you watch a film first (on really cool cow print sofas) then go upstairs to tea. It's a really funky place, all colourful armchairs and bright pieces of art everywhere, I'd really recommend it. The staff were so lovely as well and it was really relaxed :)
BG - aw, sorry you're not keen on A's haircut, must be strange to see him looking all grown up! Not long left on 2nd tri for you now...eek!

Hi everyone it's scan week yay!!!
Popcorn - afternoon tea sounds lovely glad you had a good time and what better excuse did you need than the 'I am eating for two you know!' Hope you get through the day without falling asleep x
LP - sounds like you had a great weekend, glad your mum has her outfit sorted.
Sam - gosh your friend is brave I'm a little worried about a two year age gap let alone anything smaller!! we've recently cleared our garden such a sense of achievement isn't it? let's hope the sun sticks around for a bit longer now.
Mrsmack - I loved buying bits here and there for Isla, we haven't bought anything for this one yet! I think mamas and papas stuff is cute. Good choice. Please let us know how your appointment goes tomorrow xx
poppyseeds - bedroom antics? what is this you speak of? haha! I think I've forgotten how to do it. Just so blinkin tired all the time my poor H!
BG - Wow that is a busy morning. I know how you feel about the haircut. Isla's fringe is quite long but I really don't want to get it cut so I keep sweeping it to one side.
AFM - bump has really popped out this last week. when I was PG with isla I had no bump til around 24 weeks, I'm only 19 weeks now and look like I did when I was around 28 weeks with Isla!!!! Still felt no movement but it's scan day on friday. So excited.
We had a lovely weekend away at a uni friend's daughters Christening. The old uni gang all together again. Isla was a star and slept well in the hotel room with us. looking forward to a quiet evening tonight though I'm shattered xx
